Chatters Hair Salon

This franchisee managed to find a way to rip off loyal customers through their customer loyalty program so I won't be coming back. I got a basic men’s haircut last week which was perfectly adequate but it better be for $40 plus a tip on top. I went to get my $10 from the customer loyalty program and the cashier says I don't have enough points. When she figures out how to work a calculator I'm told that I have enough points but they're invalid and can't be transferred to the new loyalty card. The points cards do not have an expiry date or cancellation clause but I'm assured that they "put up some signs." A friendlier employee says they will discuss with their manager and call me back. The call went something like "Sorry, we can't do anything for you. Contact corporate because we won't do it for you." I spoke with a district manager at Chatters Corporate office who is genuinely concerned at my experience and explains that corporate policy is to honour the old customer loyalty cards. So, it's just Windermere Chatters that is customer service challenged.

Had a great delightfully pleasant experience getting my hair cut and face trimmed today! Was greeted politely and even offered a complimentary drink. My hair stylist was kind, talkative and very easy to get along with. I honestly wish i could've stayed longer. The service made me feel at home. Best of all my hair cut was perfect and exactly what i was looking for. Thanks!

I had an incredible experience with Kara at the Windermere Chatters. She exceeded my expectations and took me from a VERY ombre hue, to a gorgeous bayalage, with a smudged root. I left the salon feeling beautiful and better about my hair then I have in YEARS! I could not recommend Kara, more - she is a true artist!

Went in with to get a my son a haircut. I asked one of the employees if they cut black peoples hair and she told me they cut all hair types. My 15 yr old son was present with me on that day. They proceed to book an appointment for him to come in for his hair the next day. I drop him off for his appointment and went to run a few errands while he gets his haircut. They turn around and tell him they cannot cut his type of hair? What is upsetting is they did not tell me the day we booked the appointment. Wasted my time when they could have told me the truth in a few minutes. Very disappointed with them.

I've been twice to have my hair done at Windermere chatters. It was a different stylist each time but both were very good. I really liked my hair and will be going back again. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that the 2nd stylist's chair was broken so I wasn't able to lean back comfortably. My colour and style took close to 3 hours so my back was a bit sore by the time it was finished. The stylist assured me that she was waiting for a new chair and it was arriving the following week. I will be confirming that she has a new chair when I call to make my next appointment.
