Don't come to this location. They did not put in the effort to do their job. I guess the owner can't bother to care much, the workers are just on their phone all the time. Minimum lighting, no music, the store is not as clean and cozy as other locations. Probably did not make the tapioca every other hour to keep it fresh, and tea leaves weren't strained properly, so there were bites in my drink.
Long line, charge .15 bag. I notice the staff made a few error in the drinks that we had to wait longer for our order. I recommend always check your order before leaving.
I feel like Chatime has changed quite a bit through the years and hasn’t been able to keep up with the newer bubbletea spots that have been opening up in the area that focus on real tea. Chatime is more tailored to sweet drinks with lots of sugar and flavouring, and now is mainly frequented by Caucasians I find don’t see a lot of Asians anymore. The only I like here and will get Is the roasted milk tea with grass jelly! Everything else is mediocre, especially since they’re been increasing their prices, I guess to compete with the other bubbletea spots but their teas do not compare so I’m not sure if this is a good business strategy?
A long-standing Chatime in the Plaza. They need a lot more attention to the interior and appearance. Otherwise, suitable for a quick grab-and-go bubble tea location. Would not recommend staying too long as the staff is not welcoming and the lacking music/positive atmosphere from other locations. Beverages are consistent with the other locations. Their Passion Fruit Tea with Jelly and Thai Milk Tea with Sago is delicious. The service is lacking at this location. Depending on the staff you get, they seemed unorganized as the cashier was very flustered with the number of orders. The store does seem busy and has a decent amount of customers coming in during Boxing Day. The interior of the store has exposed wood, questionable water damage, and lots of attention required to upkeep. Also, staff members get their own table to work and eat in the common area with customers.
From the moment we walked in this place it stunk like curding milk. They had no tapioca, and I ordered the handcrafted taro. It was really warm and unpleasant. Out of the 4 different drinks we ordered only one of us was happy. This place is a hard pass.Food: 1/5
I'm not one to make reviews but I had to this time. Staff were so rude. The moment you walk in, you're met with ALL the workers on their phones as if they could care less if you were there. The girl taking our order gave an unnecessary amount of attitude when we asked for popping boba and they didn't have it in store. Peachy Lychee tasted like straight tea, chocolate delight tasted watered down, they failed to put tapioca into one of our drinks after we ordered and PAID for it but I was too annoyed with the attitude of the girl taking our order to even complain - I just wanted to get out of there. Not a welcoming environment at all. Don't waste your time here.
Visited this location a few days ago and was not satisfied with the signature milk tea with brown sugar pearls. I go to Chatime on a regular basis but it was my first time at this Mississauga location. I asked for VERY less tapioca and to be shown how much they put which they didn’t do and filled the cut with 20-30% tapioca which is a lot! And on top of that the tapioca was not as chewy as it should have been.
I usually the pearl milk tea here and the taste is different everytime I order sometimes the pearl is delicious and chewy. Sometimes not So i think better they should concern how to maintain the quality of product.Recommended dishesChatime Pearl Milk Tea
the mic they use is trash, it’s so hard to understand the cashier and the tapioca is cooked on the outside but the inside is rock hard, fruit teas barely had any flavour. best way to describe is they taste like water with those flavoured water drops ie. those mio ones. just make the little drive to go anywhere else for bubble tea
After I ordered and paid, the cashier didn’t give me any receipt or printed paper showing number. And a few moments late, the girl who made us tea called by announcing numbers… How was I supposed to know what my number was if I wasn’t given anything in the first place.
