My husband and I were blown away by the food and service here. Having lived in a big city for a long time we were missing that certain “ambiance”. We found it at the Chameleon. The food was incredible and I was surprised at how busy it was. If you have recently moved to MR and are looking for a fun night with the girls or a great date night I highly recommend this place. A gem! Also you have to try the crab cakes!! Yum!

So today my bestie and I showed our support of this local restaurant and from the minute we walked in, I knew this spot was going to be awesome. Very stylish, yet cozy place, with a warm greeting and great service. The soft lighting and perfect volume of music make it a great place for any event. The food was really good, with different items you won't find elsewhere. If you want cheaper go to a chain. If you want excellently prepared meals come here. A friendly local high end restaurant in the heart of small town maple ridge. Well worth the money. A house Chilean red, with fresh homemade rolls with a chive butter were on our table within minutes. Wine and bread is always a good start. We enjoyed an appetizer of pork belly (could have used some more salt), then had the salmon dinner that was amazing. The lobster mac n cheese was rich and full of lobster and delicious. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was gorgeous and light with a perfect amount of vanilla bean ice cream... A neat twist was the peanut brown sugar toffee sauce with a raspberry coulee. I will definitely go back.

Finally made it to the Chameleon and I must admit I wished I made it there sooner. Very nice atmosphere with an excellent luncheon menu. They had several items on a $10 sheet and they were very well valued and sized portions. Hoping to drop by for drinks and check out the happy hour. A great experience and we will be back. Recommended.

Every time I have set foot in Chameleon it has been an exceptional experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, phenomenal cocktails at the bar, an extensive wine list and an ever changing menu reflective of its name. They take pride in sourcing fresh, local ingredients so you know you are getting great quality. If you are lucky enough to try the Stone Oven Chicken, I would highly recommend it!

Food here is unreal awesome. Service is top notch. Drinks are made just right. Great place for a date. The server forgot to bring some hot water, no big deal, but most importantly, he said he forgot and apologized then got it asap. That's an honest server and one I can fully trust. This place is in my favorites list. Another nice feature is that you can see into the kitchen, they have nothing to hide and you can see that they are proud of their restaurant.
