Revs

Excellent staff but just fair as a bowling alley. Food is OK. Originally a 5 pin alley retrofired to have some 10 pin lanes so the 10 pin machines can be kind of wonky. Unforgiving synthetic lanes with full synthetic approach so be careful as you might end up landing on your knees on your first shot as I did (I still can't put weight on my left knee like a month later!). Pins are not free-fall but are on strings so it is a somewhat different bowling experience. Still quite possible to have a fun time here. Deals can be had at certain times for some really reasonably priced bowling. Unfortunately they charge for shoes.

Ive been here 2 times. This is a really poor excuse for a bowling alley and it's too bad there is not another one in Maple Ridge. Nothing is maintained. The washroom...no joke..is absolutely disgusting. The place stinks and there's like a years worth of cigarette butts all over the ground at The front door. You show up and the counter staff are sucking back cigarettes at the entrance! The balls are absolutely terrible. Chips all over them and they rumble down the lane . About 6 feet down the lane there is a hump that extends across aaaaall the lanes...as if the building settled over time and the lanes have an arc. Wax on the lane? Definitely not. When we would step up on to the lane from the seating area...there was a hole in edge of the floor! Seriously...they don't take care of this place at all. Revs should pull their name from this old Maple Ridge Lanes. It's an embarrassment. My buddy and I alternate between MR revs and one closer to his place in Burnaby every two weeks. I will gladly go to Burnaby Revs or Zone every time. I just got my own ball...and I will not go here and ruin it on these lanes. If you go there....look at the wall where they USED to have league trophies. No more leagues...no more trophies. NO WONDER.

A bit of a dive bowling alley, many components do not work but if you go with a good heart you will have an enjoyable time!

It's really fun and at a good price per person. Bowling is more fun with more people.

Revs is a fun place, & relatively well priced. Ive been to Kids Birthdays, teenagers & adults birthdays there as well...ive had staff parties there as well. As a child i Bowled on the weekends on team called "The Strawberry Shortcake" & our biggest rivals were "The Smurfs". Once or twice a week my mom would bowl with her teams...its a great place to create some fantastic memories. ..
