Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital

Attended thw CPDMH emergency dept on the evening of the 8th December.nThe emergency dept was super busy but went through triage in an acceptable time.nDealt with triage nurse Michelle who was genuinely concerned and professional in her work.nI also dealt with nurses Chris and Sarah who showed caring and compassion for my situation as did all nurses in emergency at that time.nDr.Kaytak was thorough and concerned with my condition and arranged an ultrasound for me when noticing issues in my blood and a possible shadow in my pancreasnI stayed overnight whereas the nurses continued to be caring.nI then went for an ultrasound where the technician.wa both engaging and caring.nThe hard part was done by Dr.Potvin who was both caring and concerned in telling me I had pancreatic mass.nAlthough I was very upset with knowing the possible diagnosis all the nurses asked if they could help.nKnowing the staff have little control how long it takes at the hospital they all still showed caring and concern.nGood job people.I appreciated the concern

All staff were amazing and patient. Thanks to all the wonderful nurses and the care they gave to me. And a huge thank you to Dr. Emilie Meyers for putting up with me. You are truly an angel. And a huge thanks to Nurse Julie….a rarity. Lovely lady.

Thank you to the kind nurses, doctors and staff who have supported me. I have noticed huge changes since the renovations and I am hopeful they will continue to grow and have more surge doctors every day because it is so needed! Thank you!nnUPDATE: I have never been treated with such kindess and compassion from the nurses and doctors and staff at Carleton Place Hospital. Nurse Chelsea and Dr D. provided me with top tier care and I am so grateful. I did not know they were not being paid for the extra hour worked due to the time change and I feel they should all get huge raises! Thank you!!!

Worst hospital I have ever been to, do not go unless you are willing to wait for 4 hours with pneumonia then be told that they can't give you an estimated wait time. Never going back again save yourself and never go here. Almonte is faster and has better doctors.

Absolutely the best care was received from the ER doctors and nurses! They were extremely patient, kind, and thorough with everything they did for our child. She was very afraid because she didn't know what to expect, and they took their time to explain everything to her and acknowledge and validate her fears. The moral among the staff was very good and made for a less stressful environment for us. We're grateful for the excellent care at Carlton Place Hospital ER
