Almonte General Hospital

Came here to be checked out since I’m 31 weeks pregnant and was having some headaches. The girls in maternity were all so nice and sweet, doctor was just as amazing. Ended up being given lunch since I was there and even that was great! Hospital food doesn’t usually get a good reputation but I was extremely surprised with how good it was. Seriously 10/10 hospital for everything.

I had a same day surgery yesterday and was so impressed with the care from the medical staff. Thank you Dr. Rowe, Donna and all the staff who were so attentive to my needs and made this a very positive experience. Although half an hour from downtown Ottawa, the parking was free, it was very simple and fast at admission and due to the smaller size of the hospital, I felt that I was part of a great family as since the volume of patients is much less, you get the personal care that is do important during a surgery.

Came with my son at the hospital at 10 am on Monday morning from Ottawa because of the huge waiting times. it literally took an hour for triage, X-ray and seeing a doctor.nDr. Splawinski really took time looking at my son's problem, even though staff told me they can do limited tests at the hospital.nI am very happy that we can have an alternative options like this, especially when your child has been sick for a long time.nNurses are very pleasant and they are working hard.

Nancy the nurse from triage emergency care was amazing and so genuine. She could see that I was very overwhelmed and upset. Nancy provided me with some comforting advice and I could really tell she generally cared for my well being, taking the time to support me. Every hospital needs a Nancys!

I recently had day surgery at this hospital and cannot begin to express how impressed I am with their care! Everyone was so incredibly kind, patient, and went above and beyond which really helped with my anxiety surrounding the whole procedure. Very, very pleased with my experience!
