Cap Reit

We have been living in this house for almost a year and whenever there were any problems the manager Ekaterina was very quick to respond and answer our needs. The building itself is not very new, but clean inside, cleaned every day. Location is very good, close to the c-train and next to a large beautiful park and a river. We are happy with our choice.

I love living at Mayfair. I have been living here for more than two years, a good place to live, everything is nearby. Tammy is the best of the best. The manager Amanda is great. The people are very friendly.

The people working in our building are very nice, however the emergency phone number given to us the people are so rude. Almost yelling at you and then hanging up… these are not the types of people to be in charge of emergencies. Very disappointed

The onsite management at Pineridge Green is rude, rude rude. That seems to be a common theme in reviews, and I wish I had read more reviews before moving here. The staff work onsite here with only "multi family dwellings", yet they don't know that Calgary noise by-laws don't apply to multi family dwellings. Be prepared to listen to screaming kids 24 hours a day, with office staff that tells current tenants to call 311 for noise complaints, not comprehending that they are responsible for handling noise complaints. Apparently beating your wife half to death on camera in the building hallway like my next door neighbor did is ok, but emailing the rental office with concerns about your personal safety is not. True story. Homeless people sleeping in the stairwells, people shooting up meth on the building exterior stairs, a "cap cares" phone line that head office doesn't respond to, onsite staff that considers themselves above helping current tenants, and a head office that is completely ambivalent about all of it, that's what you get with your lease at Pineridge Greene. And if you don't like it, they just tell you to move. Save yourself a few steps and move straight to somewhere else.

I honestly don't ever like giving bad reviews but for this specific situation I feel the need to and would give 0 stars if I could. I currently live at the Carrington. It seemed like an okay place until about a month ago two employees entered my suite to replace the microwave. I had to leave to work so the two employees stayed this is normal for them to do I had left my Raybans on the kitchen counter and when I came back they were gone. My 200 dollar sunglasses were stolen in my own home by two employees. I contacted the office and everything seems to be ignored. No one is giving me any proper answers and I was told they do not re-imburse. I think this is completely pathetic. Capriet should be responsible for their employees. Nothing absolutely nothing should be touched in the home. Get the job done and get out. I am extremely disappointed that nothing is being done about this and ignored. I don't recommend anyone to live here unless they want their things stolen in their own home. Pathetic. Do better.

I truly wish this was a joke but unfortunately it is not. During the winter my windows were not sealed properly nor did my heating work because they obviously didnt check this before I moved in VISTA TOWERS. My heating bill skyrocked to $140 in November because I had to buy my own heater and they refuse to reimburse even though this is clearly a lapse in maintenance on their end. To make this story even stupider THEY SUPER GLUED MY WINDOWS because they were too cheap to replace them. Yes you read that right, I will reiterate because it is so unbelievable. SUPER GLUE. I was literally told this it would " dry in the spring and you can peel it off and open you windows again" Well to noones surprise it hasnt dried and you cant regluate the temperature in these apartments so its a sauna in there half the time. I think this says all you need to know about capriet. They should change the name of their helpline to CAP DOEST CARE because no one ever gets back to you. Sad there isnt a zero stars button.

Calgary Pineridge manager is so rude her name is Tatiana Capreit needs to train her how to talk with clients and how to do the job properly and respect the people. So rude never want to deal with her. Don’t rent apartments from Tatiana.

Even though Alberta now has the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country, people coming in and out of the building seem to think they do not have to wear masks. Today there are movers in the building riding the elevators and the one mover I just saw has his mask down around d his chin. Who is enforcing the mask mandate in this building? Not Capreit employees evidently.

I tried to break my lease. I found a couple who were willing to move in my apartment and take over the remainder of my lease but Capriet wouldn't go for it. They want to charge me for breaking my lease forcing me to not pay my rent so I can break my lease. Be careful people
