Canadian Tire

I went to this location to buy an Iron. I bought a Tfal iron. I opened the box and It was used !! I could clearly see water inside the iron. Why would you sell a used item? You say 50 percent off and sell ppl used items? This is not acceptable.nnUpdate: I went to your location today to exchange the iron . I got another iron. I opened the box of the new iron infront of the cashier and again there was water in the iron !!! I immediately returned the item . Please follow this up as this is not acceptable. It was also a waste of time for me.

What on earth is Canadian Tire thinking? This is absolutely the most horrendous shopping experience I've ever seen. I was asked to put my bag inside their lockers in the front for 'security reasons'. I came to browse and shop for tackle and auto products but everything is locked up behind cages. You have to try to flag down an employee if you want to look at anything close up and then once you choose something they hold onto the product and escort you to the cashier to checkout as if you're a criminal. 0 stars. Canadian Tire has really gone downhill...

I can’t give a zero stars, but I would. I called the store on Saturday having been told that they have some clearance tires for my vehicle that would fit. A person answered, said they would call me back and let me know if they could find them. I then asked if I could book an appointment to have them installed. He said it’s just a first come first serve so I come here I’ve driven about 25 km to get here. Oh, we just have the one tire. Why would I come for one tire? I asked. And then his answer was I told you I just had one. No he never said that I said I was looking for tires two to be installed who installs one tire what kind of safety play is that? So today I come in and he’s kicking me out of the store threatening to call. Security says he’s a store manager I don’t know if he is or isn’t. I kind of doubt it. Why would he be in charge of the service side? All the staff were quite indignant and rude. No one said I’m sorry. No one said I have another option for you nothing. They’ve wasted my time I will go to their head office. I think this is a disreputable operation if that’s the way, they treat people. Ended up going to head office and they did give me a token adjustment in credit card credits that I can use but nowhere near what went on here. I then ended up meeting someone who said they were charge of or a manager in an area that looks after these dealers and he said they basically had no power over these people, but wasn’t surprised at the store came up with issues and he mentioned the store, managers name of the person who actually owns the franchise. But then he said the contract lets them do whatever they want. If you’ve been to this place and had any bad experiences, I suggest you contact the ministry and share those experiences with them because somebody needs to go in and investigate this place

We went to this store to buy some glue. It was in a locked case. The price was $8.00!nWe waited and waited and no one ever came to open the case and let us buy that precious tube of glue. We left the store with no purchase as did another customer waiting for a locked case to be opened. Not only is Canadian Tire preventing theft…they are preventing purchases! Very clever business strategy.

Came to pick up some fishing gear. Found the entire section and the rest of the store locked, including $3 hooks and $5 weights. Had to find some very inpatient staff to open the doors, have them watch me like I was a criminal, and have my purchase taken directly to the cashier to be held while we continued to shop. You act like 99% of customers are stealing from you. Are things really this bad that you need to invest this much money into locked gates for the entire store? Your store looks like a jail!!
