The Home Depot

I use this home depot location often. I have mixed experiences and some days were good but some days were bad. However, today I am writing a 4 star review mainly because I am positively influenced by my last experience. I bought a American Standard Toilet some time ago, and 3 months after installation I noticed that the tank had a hairline crack which I did not notice before. I visited Home Depot to check what my choices are. An employee named Caitlin went out of her way to help me. She had to jump through few hoops as the 90 return window was about to expire that night. She gave me a solution where I did not have to return the whole toilet, but could exchange only the broken part (tank).

Shopped at this store many years, customer service has slowly improved but what Homedepot really needs is a revamp of the big box store concept, a big warehouse that's dark and disorganized with how some of the products are located and displayed. Make the place brighter would be a good start. Checkout Lowes stores how bright it is when you walk in

Avoid buying Appliance here at all cost. Missed delivery twice in a row. All they mentioned was it was a system glitch. I called all my contractors for the renovation and for two weeks in a row, appliances didn't show up. Ended up losing my despoit and wasted money on helpers. Homedepot simply does not care. They just compensate you for the delivery which is $50. That's it. No more Homedepot ever again in my life.

Got in there with a project in mind not knowing what i'd need so i asked a staff member for help.. Told him what i wanted to do but didn't know what i needed.. He pointed out all my options, took me to the isles and showed me the parts. We discussed the results and he wished me luck.. Great individual. Great experience. The very following day i was back there to buy a washer and dryer that i was all set to purchase at another appliance store.. Nahid helped me with my purchase this time, another great individual. Thank You Home Depot!!

No customer service. Let's say you need some screws. First supplier that comes in your mind is Home Depot. So, you go to the nearest location to get your 2 screws. Guess what? They do have thousands of screws and other stuff, so you have to ask someone where do you find those, in case you are not familiar with their setup. If you're lucky enough, you can get someone directing you to the isle x. But a simple thing which should take 5 minutes, it turns in 30 minutes of frustration. When they see you're looking for help, will do their best to avoid you.
