Canadian Tire

Its because of this store and only this store that I am a loyal Canadian Tire shopper. I always have great experiences there. Most of the staff are super friendly and most of all the one person that turned me and my wife into loyal customers is the manager Jackie. She is awesome. I honestly cant say anything good about any other store especially the one in Richmond Hill on Silver Linden Drive, stay away from that one. Great job Jackie, your personality and skills rub off onto your staff and if you ever leave I will no longer stay loyal to Canadian Tire. Joe and Izzy

Had the worst customer experience. Went in for a battery that was difficult to find. I had to ask a cashier to call someone to help since there was no associate on the floor. They called someone, but they did not come to assist me. In fact, in the 10 minutes I was waiting I was able to find the battery myself at the very bottom of a locked display. After 10 minutes, after no assistance, I went back to the cash area for help. There was only 1 cashier, and they spent over 8 minutes with a customer, while a long line formed behind me. By the time another cashier had jumped on, I had been in the store for about 20 minutes and I was still empty handed. When I finally got to the cashier, I told her that the person she had called to batteries did not come, and I asked her if she would be able to open the display. She rudely told me that I would have wait again for the person to come and then I had to wait in line again, which had grown to over 9 people. I couldn't believe how horrible the customer service was. I will be shopping at a different location from now on.

Came in for tire change at 1PM and waited until 5 PM. Even though they said they could do it before 5PM, I ended up wasting my time sitting in the wait room as they could NOT do it at all! Through the window I could see incompetence, incompetence, and incompetence. Young kid took 3 hours to change a set of winter tires. Two other “mechanics” unable to open a hood that has broken latch. They pried the hood leaving all kinds of scratches and bends on the customers car. Another kid just walking around dogging it. Waste of time, waste of money. Don’t get your service here as I guarantee you, you will be dissatisfied, disappointed, and leaving with less money in a broken car. Listen to all the other reviews or you will regret it.

4 hours for an oil change? I understand during a rush hour, but I came at 7:30 AM... These guys keep cars from previous days and take an extra time, and give no priority to first come first serve.

Wide selection of goods: automotive, tools, household (e.g. doorknobs), kitchen (e.g. spatulas, bag clips), etc. Very helpful staff; of note because they were helpful and accommodating despite the holiday rush and craziness. One note of caution: because stores are comparatively small and offer quite a spread of goods, the selection suffers a bit. For a full set of choices it's best to visit specialty stores, e.g. Home Depot, Lowe's, Princess Auto, etc. Prices are a tad high as well; one can get full price variability at specialty stores above. Sale items, however, are usually very cheap (saw 70% in-store sale that I've never saw elsewhere).
