I want to share my experience at Alliston Canadian Tire. When you walk in, you are greeted and asked right away if you need help. When you walk around the store, the shelves are well stocked and organized. The employees on the floor kept asking if I needed help, which was nice.nI went to Auto to get help opening my key fob, but unfortunately they were too busy..nI went to customer service, in hopes someone could help. The young woman with long brown hair I believe her name was Chantel .. she was very bubbly, smiley, and eager to help. As a customer, I loved seeing this. I told her what had happened, and she generally seemed concerned and helped me right away. It’s nice seeing a young girl so happy at work and wanted to make my experience better.nAll in all the store looks clean; the front and windows look spotless; the employees were great. I had a great experience, I will be coming back.

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE PICKING UP YOUR ORDER FROM THIS STORE!nnI purchased 45,000 btu 3 burners + 1 side burner Coleman barbecue from CT, Alliston ON on May 8, 2025 and paid $621.49 including tax. They said, product is not in stock and will arrive on May 14, 2025 and they will call inform me when it’s arrived. I waited phone call from the Alliston, ON CT store until 17:30 and nobody called. I went to the store. There was a customer service staff here name was Kelly. She was not friendly at all. First, they put a wrong product into my truck and when I refused, she said that is the item I paid for which was wrong! She wanted to refund me if I don’t take it. Then, a gentleman employee who he was helping me while I was purchasing the barbecue involved and he said yes it’s wrong product what they gave me. Then, she asked him to change it with the right one! I spent an hour and finally I got my barbecue. It’s in the box and I won’t assemble it until Saturday. Hopefully everything goes well.nnThey didn't apologize even though they knew they were wrong, on the contrary, Kelly acted in a very rude manner as if I was at fault. This is the worst customer service I have seen from CT in the last 20 years. I definitely do not recommend anyone to shop from CT stores from now on! I recorded the whole incident on video. If CT officials want, I can send it.nnAttached are the photos of the incorrectly given barbecue for which they did not apologize, and the right one which I purchased as the real one.

Its a good size for the town and its well organized. It is stocked with a little bit of everything and the staff are helpful if you need a hand finding something. All in all a pretty decent store!

Went in to Alliston, Canadian Tire automotive centre today to purchase a new car battery and asked for it to be installed. The quote for the battery was just under $300 and the installation was just under $200!! I informed the counter service technician that a YouTube demonstration had the battery changed out on my vehicle within 10 minutes! I purchased the battery only, brought it home to replace it myself. Setup, installed, and cleanup took me just under 30 minutes, and I am no mechanic!! At $135 per hour Canadian Tire required one and a half hours to do the same job!!
