Finding the aisles for what you need can be a hassle. Barely any staff, and not all the kiosks allow typing to perform a lookup and are just used for price checking.nnThe website does not advertise products accurately. Products will change e.g. different size, different formula with different writing on the bottle, so a different product but they'll be advertised as the original product resulting in disappointment when you get home and realize it's not the thing it says it was on the website.nnParking is stressful so prepare to do a speed run of a shopping trip to get the 1 hour free, which you'll need to grab a validation ticket for from customer service.nnAnd while I know this isn't this location's fault, the website is extremely slow to load on mobile. It makes it hard to quickly pull up something you saw on the website. A staff member in hardware asked me to look up the stock instead of doing it himself, which takes some extra effort because when you load it up, it detects a store 2 provinces away as your store so you need to find the store locator and update your current store. Staff should carry devices to perform lookups or have access to them. This was a common thing at Canadian Tire years ago where staff could punch in a product number and find the aisle and stock, it seems like the new technology doesn't provide this capability or staff aren't using it. As a workaround I've found it easiest to use the kiosk near paint to find the aisles of everything I need.nnGood location but I think 2 hours of free parking would be better to make it less stressful which is what Longos does.
nnI went in to buy paint to redecorate a table, and while I wasn’t sure what type I needed, I explained exactly what I wanted and even showed a photo. I’m giving two stars because the employee who helped me was courteous and took his time. However, when he mixed the paint, the colour looked off. I asked if it would turn black once stirred, and he assured me it would—so I trusted his advice and purchased it. When I got home and mixed it thoroughly, the paint stayed a brown-green shade. I called the store and ended up speaking with the same gentleman, who told me, “you said you wanted it,” despite my explaining that I bought it based on his reassurance. He offered no correction or refund. I chose not to name him, but if you’re inexperienced or need proper paint guidance, I wouldn’t recommend going there. Home Depot helped me in under five minutes and my table turned out exactly as I wanted
I go to this store regularly because its prices on pet supplies is really good; however every time I buy anything electronic there string lights, decorations etc they always crap out immediately. It's also extremely aggravating if you want to pay cash because they fired all the cashiers and replaced them with self-serve machines that don't take cash, so you have to wait in line behind a series of people returning their crapped-out merchandise in Customer Service, because that's the only place to pay cash for your items now.
Extremely poor experience. The staff showed no respect for delivery drivers, causing unnecessary delays. Time is money, and this place clearly doesn’t understand that. I would not suggest coming here at all.
This location at this time of year I'd figure would be quite busy if not packed!!nFriendly security, and CT employees, quite pleasant and gelpful-I was looking for items which are at different part of the store. Besides helping me find what I was looking for, they'd suggested other similar items, but not some kind of up selling tactic!nSpacious aisles, the prices aren't horrible, labels/item names seemed clearly visible.nAll in all, it was not an exhausting trip as might likely have been say if I were in Walmart!! Interesting what cheap prices will do...problem is when it breaks down, doesn't last & you find yourself returning....was it a successful journey¿?
