Frustration and disappointment experienced.nI recently purchased car roof top racks from the store on July 20. Upon opening the box just five minutes later in the parking lot, I found rusty metal bars completely unrelated to the product I bought. I immediately reported this to the store staff, but none of the employees, including three to four staff members, were able to provide any immediate assistance. We were directed to call a customer service number, which wasted nearly two hours of our time without resolving the issue. Eventually, we did receive a refund the next day, but we called the manager three times, but the manager did not personally answer the phone. Thank Burney for helping us resolve this issue.nnThis incident raises serious concerns about Canadian Tire’s quality control and product management. Selling a product with completely unrelated and rusty items is unacceptable. This experience caused significant inconvenience and made us question the reliability of Canadian Tire’s products and services. Extremely disappointed with the service and lack of proper quality assurance.
They made a mistake on a price, and when I pointed it out to the cashier, she rolled her eyes and claimed I had mixed up some products because she didn't want to check. I ended up being right, but there was no apology from her. All the employees look miserable and are not helpful at all!
Linh the automotive assistant manager was extremely professional and very accommodating! The best service I’ve ever received. He was also very friendly with my son and told him a joke while we were waiting for our car to be serviced. Definitely will bring my car back here.
This large Canadian Tire is at the closest to the midtown in a community that serves single family homes as well as those living in apartments. Overall the store is well stocked. However, one main issue remains the section on painting. You would never find anyone that could help you and when I looked for a specific mix of paint they were not able to help me. I was told that they don’t do that anymore. This is happening since before the pandemic. Anyway unless you need to renovate your home you may actually find what you need here.
