Inventory is never correct. You go there and they say there System is not updated. People at the parts counter are unprofessional and have lack of ability to search up parts. Yesterday was the worst. My brother in law bought a new battery last month. The parts person searched it up had the one he wanted16 on hand btw. I went to install it and it didn't seem right. I had to stretch the wires to attach them to the terminals. Put wood shims on one side. I looked back at what battery he originally sent me and the person had given him the wrong battery. Then yesterday took 2 people at the parts counter to resolve it. They also tested the battery that we had just brought back for an exchange. What should have taken 10 mins took 40. We also had to walk the new battery to customer service as the parts person didn't even make a gesture to help us carry it due to the fact one of his fellow colleagues had made the error. I don't understand how you sit in front of a terminal and are given all the proper information and still can't perform a simple task of getting the correct battery. This location deserves the title of CRAPPY TIRE. Please hire some half decent qualified help that is trained and know what they are doing. The part number doesn't clearly match in the photos. My 15 year old is more qualified. I would shop at the main and danforth location. Their inventory is always correct and their staff is knowledgeable.nBTW. The owner responded and told me to call a 1800 number. No option to speak to a customer service representative. Don't hold your breath. You will be placed on hold listening to elevator
I have always been happy with the excellent service provided by the tire department and associates such as Jordan.nnThis past Thursday, Bento went above and beyond, giving me the experience of working with a small local shop right here at Canadian Tire. After my vehicle hit a massive trench utility cut/pothole on Vanderhoof Avenue, both front tires blew out instantly. Bento was incredibly personable and helpful throughout the process. He kept me updated with text messages and even shared photos of the damaged tires, ensuring I felt informed and supported every step of the way.
Don’t order anything online for pick up at this store, even when the item shows in stock. I did and the pick up time was estimated to be afternoon of the day I ordered. They billed my credit card when I ordered. In the afternoon, the time changed to the next day or the day after. Five days later and no pick up date. They expect you to cancel the order. The “online product availability” must be to get you to come in and buy something similar. Or maybe they hope you will forget and they keep your money.
Had my car serviced here for the first time. Service was great! Booking was easy online and the text follow ups made it convenient. The guy at the counter that helped me was awesome, but i didn’t get his name. Was a bald guy in service that has arm tattoos. Great guy great service thanks!
If you want the worst Auto Service possible, go to Laird; dishonesty seems to be their aim. This has changed over the past few years, must be new management. Never had this issue before, they used to do good, honest work. I booked an oil change and tire rotation. I advised I was not certain it needed a tire rotation, but let me know. I paid for the full service when I picked up the car. Went back almost immediately: they had not done the tire rotation, not advised me, BUT charged for the inclusive package. At the counter, they thought it was a joke when I went back. They then did the tire rotation in under 10 minutes really?. Since then, my wiper fluid light is constantly on, I have refilled 3 times in as many months. Obviously, they created a leak during their inadequate service. Would I go back there? NEVER!
