I was quite impressed with this new location. The store is bright, spacious and well stocked. Not only that but the staff were actually quite welcoming and helpful, which you don’t see often at these big box stores these days. Really set the bar pretty high for customer service at CT. Overall a beautiful store and will definitely be coming back even though this location is not the closest to me, worth the extra few minutes drive.
Wow! It's so big! They had a wide selection of stuff. I'm not sure if its because they weren't officially opened yet grand opening Oct 19th, but some stuff was not put out on shelves low inventory?. Very clean and organized. It lost 1 star because it didn't have self checkout. It's 2023. Very nice washrooms, but the flushing on the toilet was not very strong, lol. Some stalls weren't flushed very well. Overall, really nice place!
Recently open store . It's huge and spacious.. right next to a newly open smart center .  Lot of items to choose from .nnPlace is clean and lot of rooms for ppl to go by
Employee and manager with a Terrible attitude and an utter lack of respect for their client. I was in to return a pair of soccer shoes with my wife because we bought two sizes to take home and have my son try them on.nnI arrive at the counter and I smile and say “hello, how are you” to the employee,nEmployee: no acknowledgement and says what can I do for you.nMe: I’d like to return the smaller pair of shoes I purchased previouslynShe: you know you can’t return these if the tags aren’t on them because we don’t know if someone wore them. But I’ll do it for you this timennMe: okay, thank you. we took them off to have my son try them on and the tags are in the box.nnHer: do you have the receiptnMe: no, but can you pull it up using my credit cardnShe : disrespectful laugh under her breath.nnAt this point I have no clue why I’m being treated with this attitude and passive aggressivenessnnMe: I’m sorry but what’s with all of this attitude.nHer: I didn’t say anythingnMe: you were rude in speaking to me initially and laughed under your breath when I mentioned not having the receipt.nnHer: taps her manager on the shoulder who’s next to her and says “handle this” and walks away to the other side of the returns counternnManager asks what credit card it’s on mentions that the lady before was doing me favour, all while hearing her blatantly be disrespectful.n*as with everything, it’s not always what someone says as much as it is the tone and way in which they address you. This was bad at this pointnnMe: the fact that your condoning her behaviour and somehow position this as anything other than bad service is disgusting.nnI quote what’s written on their hiring bored on the wall and remain quiet the rest of transaction.nnAfter walking away my wife hears the managerblack shirt say “manly man”. I don’t return and decide to sit on this before deciding to leave this review.nnIt’s a pain to work with people, but it’s also a privilege and opportunity to make everyone’s day better. It seems that this is a bigger issue than just one employee and that this Canadian tire has issue with the culture after the experience I’ve had. Good luck, hopefully both these individuals get the coaching they need because a bad attitude is infectious and affects you in your personal and professional life.
The worst Canadian tire i have visited in my life, starting from front desk old lady to technician all of them are scammers and try to get as much money as possible from your pocket…nThe guy said my tire is not repairable even though the nail wasn’t through.. and old lady can’t explain why i have to extra money even though tire was under warranty..nnWorst place to Go
