This clinic and its doctors and staff are incredible. I have been coming here for years and Dr. McEvoy is brilliant. I feel I am in the best care with her as she listens, cares about my concerns, and makes sure I have everything I need to be healthy. The front desk staff are just as wonderful and kind. Wait times are usually long - around 45 minutes to be seen with an appointment; however, for the quality of care I receive, it is worth it. I have seen a couple other doctors here as they are all great physicians.
My wife and I always feel good after our visit with Dr Romano. If we have any questions, he always answers them very patiently, and in non medical terms so we can understand. His assistant is also very friendly and carries out her role very effectively. Getting an appointment over the phone is always easy with their friendly staff. We are very lucky to have Dr Romano as our family physician for many years! Thank you!
My awesome family Dr is at this clinic. I have to say that since Covid, the process for checking in as become more streamlined and much more effective. The front end staffer is very attentive which I appreciated. You are no longer waiting in line for one or two of the staff to get off the phone or get up and go do something while you are in line waiting to check in...In my own career of medical service, the patient was always acknowledged first and this new process allows the front end staff to do this so this is now being much more efficiently handled, and I appreciate that. The waiting room is divided and also much more comfortable now. Thank you Callingwood Crossing, you have made some good changes!!
I’ve been there a couple times now, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that it’s hard to get a hold of someone on the phone, but I know they are always busy. I have been looking for a family doctor for over five years and I am so relieved to have found Dr. Keiko Chan - she is excellent! I really appreciate how she takes the time to explain things to me, and to answer all my questions. She never makes me feel rushed, and has never been late for my appointments - so rare in a doctor. She’s everything I have ever wanted in a family doctor. I am SO happy that I made the choice to go to Callingwood Crossing Medical Clinic!
The staff at this clinic are very friendly, professional and very accommodating. Dr. McEvoy is sincere, caring and always pleasant. She listens, addresses any concerns I or my husband have and does not hesitate to collaborate with her colleagues should she feel it necessary. She is genuinely interested in finding the best approaches for our needs and always with a gentle voice. We feel every comfortable when we have the need to visit this clinic.
I have been with Callingwood Crossing for about 5 years and I have an amazing doctor who takes the time to listen and does everything she can for me. The rest of the staff are very polite and professional and gets to you as soon as they can and they are also there to help whenever needed. I would recommend this doctors office immediately to anyone looking for a doctor. I have also had the pleasure of having Oscar attend to a wound that I had. I am diabetic and it needed to be seen and Oscar was great at handling it.
My family doctor is the best human in the world. I've never met anyone this beautiful inside out as a person and medical professional. As I sad to her last week - everything will be fine because I have your support. Doctor Pariy! You are loved! BTW the clinic is clean, modern and adapted for any kind of needs, even the bathrooms are spotless.
The doctors at this clinic are fabulous. However it seems to be managed by the cat in the hat. I am grateful I don't often require doctors care as the staff all seem like they work hard with no support or appreciation. There always seems to be chaos and confusion and management can never seem to give proper support. Many I know have said in recent months the clinic has gone downhill since a shift in management and focus. Hopefully the staff can one day find pride and joy in their work again!
Booked a virtual walk-in appointment according to receptionist's instructions. Was waiting for an appointment since yesterday. Doctor was passed the call window, so I checked in and they said she was running behind and I was still on the list. I waited another hour or so to call and check in again to find out they were closed, and the doctor never called. No-one called to say the doctor wouldn't be able to make the appointment. No-one indicated the doctor was too busy for an appointment. I tried calling several other clinics, but it's too late in the day and everyone is booked. If you have a time-sensitive matter to address with the doctor, I wouldn't choose this clinic. Clearly they can't get their ducks in a row, so what does that say about the medical care you'd receive? If they don't respect patients enough to be upfront with them about getting into an appointment, that sets a pretty low standard of care.
My family and I have been utilizing Callingwood Medical Clinic for our medical needs over the last several years. I am very impressed with the front office attendants/nurses and their caring attitude to all who come to the front desk. Even more so during these unusual times - they have been quick to assist in booking phone consultations and providing lab results as available. I have personally seen Dr. Bernadette McEvoy and so appreciate her knowledge, active listening skills and true desire to assist or refer me on as required to specialists. Dr. McEvoy takes the time to listen to concerns and find the best option for treatment or try several until a solution is found. I highly recommend the clinic! My son has utilized the services on a drop in basis only a couple of times and we found it very easy to see a walk in physician as required.
