I recently bought a pair of boots at Cadence downtown.... My experience with the staff and owner was first class, over and above my expectations. i was looking for a particular boot, a boot which was also carried by a national box store. At the end of the day i was able to get what i was looking for at a better price and with excellent service from a local business. Highly recommended!
You really don't want to hear a bad review, but I am going to give you one, the manager or owners of this store on hwy 97 in kelowna b.c. should know thtat you have the most ignorant staff ever, I went to the store approx 15 minutes to closing looking for a pair of winter boots, and i was greeted by a girl behind the counter, saying we are closing in approx 15 minutes, there was no one in the store and the other 3 staff members would not help me they said the shoes were at the back of the store and so I went there but do you think I could get a girl to help me, not on your life, they made noises so they could not hear me asking for help. they were all totally rude, I left the store never to return. I think you should look what your staff is doing if you care about your business. I am also going to pass this info on to all of my friends. Its too bad.
I had a lovely salesperson Kanisha, who was very helpful and knowledgeable about different shoe brands. She was patient and well mannered. I would not hesitate to shop here again.

I have never been so dissatisfied with any customer service in my life. I purchased a pair of sandals form Candice shoes in July of this year. I had special orthotics made for them so they, of course were not at all cheap. Both sandals have completely cracked in half one month later. I took them into the story thinking they would help me. NOPE! I was asked accusatorily 'what did you do to them? I have never see that before' I told them that I have never seen that either and asked for a replacement shoe. I was told that they don't do that anymore because they would be out of business if they replaced shoes that were damaged and that I had to contact the company itself. I was surprised at that and asked why Candace shoes wouldn't stand behind their products. I was then told that this is 'how the modern world works'. I then asked for contact information for the company and was given incorrect information and sent on my way. Since then , I tried to contact the company and the contact info was incorrect. I went online and tried and have been emailing the company every day and have not had any response. So because of Candace shoes' lack of care for their customers, I am out a pair of shoes and the price of a pair of orthotics specifically make for those shoes. VERY POOR SERVICE. If I could leave less than 1 star I would.
All the staff are so knowledge and so pleasant and professional. I went into the store to buy an expensive shoe but I was helped to buy a shoe that was a better fit and more functional than the shoe I had my sights on. So better shoe and as well, a better price as it was on sale. The focus was completely on my needs. I highly recommend this awesome boutique store.
I love this store. They have some beautiful footwear. Despite the negative reviews on staffing, I have never had a problem. Found them to be extremely helpful. It always a pleasure stopping in and checking what they have. I've bought about 4 pairs of shoes and sandals from this place and they wear beautifully. No issues with anything from here!
Great service. My husband always has a hard time buying shoes but the ladies there were so helpful and got him a great pair. We will definitely go back, great selection and good quality.
SUPPORT LOCAL!! My husband was on the hunt for Blundstones for me and as you may know, they can be hard to get, depending on the style. He went all over Kelowna and I finally told him to go to the local shop Cadence and he did. When I opened them, they were the wrong style and when I called, they didn't have the ones I wanted in-stock. Their policy does state "no refunds" and exchange only. Blundstone's is on backorder across Canada so the lady added me to the list. Unfortunately, my hubby lost the receipt, but they still honored an in-store credit so I didn't have to keep the ones I had. After a week or two, I called back and was informed they were on backorder until March - YIKES!!! I proceeded to call some stores in smaller cities and found a store in Armstrong that had some. I called Cadence and explained the situation. The lady, who also honored the credit without a receipt was the same one I was speaking to, couldn't make the call to refund as their policy clear says no; however, she went above and beyond and called the owner and shared my side. Know, I don't like taking business away from our local economy, but I also don't want to wait two more months for shoes. The owner was nice enough to make an exception, given how long I would have to wait and knowing I could be a satisfied local and get what I wanted from another small business owner. The point of my review is not to encourage people to try and get business owners to go against their policies, it's to show that even in tough times, Cadence still put the happiness of their customer first. For that reason, I will continue to refer business to them. Thank you Cadence for being so amazing!
Bought a pair of size 13 Blundstones which were not on sale. Both sales staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The size 12 was too tight in the toes. While the size 13 was prefect for the toes but a little too big around the heels. They put in a second inner sole which made the heels better. Then they put in a third inner sole which made the toes too tight. Finally they put in a 3rd inner sole for the heel only which made the boots perfect. I'm now very happy :-
