great winery. fantastic people Was staying across the street at Eco Adventures. Decided to try out the winery. My car got a flat tire on the way and they helped me get the tire changed and called around for a replacement on my behalf. We stayed for a wine tasting before dinner and they spent a great deal of time talking to us about their wine process. Wines were excellent. Dinner was great. People there are the best!

My boyfriend and I went for a tour and dinner yesterday. The vineyard was beautiful and the tasting/tour was short and sweet, which we enjoyed. The service was great, we ordered a bottle of the horse and boat with dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, portions were a great size, and prices were very reasonable. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful winery and grounds, and they make amazing wine. Nice place to pop into for a wine tasting or to pick up some wine if you are in the area. They've partnered with a restaurant from Port Dover for the past few summers and I'd like to give a higher rating but unfortunately for two years in a row I'm struggling to see the value. The food is expensive for what it is, and the service is spotty. Too bad because they're in a great location. If you're going for a meal and looking for a nice place I suggest some of the Port Dover restaurants for a better experience at the same (or lower) price. If you're popping in for wine, you can't go wrong with any of them!

Burning kiln takes a tremendous amount of pride in making fantastic wine. They offer a great history lesson and plans for the future of their winery. As leaders in the Norfolk region they are developing a great name for this emerging area. Strip room 2016 for the win!

We drove by burning kiln while visiting some family in the area and stopped in. We got the most friendly upbeat greeting you can imagine, and were ushered off to a special tasting with John. Tasting prices are extremely reasonable, and they waive the charge if you end up buying wine. John was so informative, he made it an absolute blast. We tried almost everything, and burning kiln has some really great wines.
