This place has legit poutines! All customizable so you can add all the fixin's you want. The fries are piping hot and crispy, which complement that brown gravy oh so well. All the meat options also go well with the poutine, whether you'd like them individually or all together.
Ver good place! I am not an expert in poutine but I have tested a couple of restaurants before. Here the vegetarian poutine is delicious! With fresh veggies, falafel and home made gravy. My friends were happy with classic poutine too. You have many choices and reasonable prices. I will come here again!
It was good. But as other Canadians have mentioned, it's not like home. The gravy is too thin and watery. It's something between broth and gravy. The wrong cheese is used. The gravy seems to be put in the dish first, so it doesn't melt the cheese or cover the fries. Still, a nice filling meal on a cold, wet day in Paris.
I wanted to like this place, but... The fries were good, the cheese was proper poutine cheese or as close as you'll get here, but the gravy was pretty tasteless. The portions for dining in were also a little on the small side for the price and it looked like ppl getting take-away got more. It's not the worst poutine in Paris that honor still goes to the Great Canadian in St Michel, but it's not the best either.
4 is on the generous side. It was just ok. Quite pricy compared to quality. Got the veggie option. Lacking flavor or seasoning. Also felt a little dirty, table and condiments were sticky. On the plus, it was very filling and nice service. Another note, it was not cold in there at all, not sure what people are complaining about.
Delicious food and a great, friendly waitstaff! I really enjoyed the ham and cheese croquettes appetizer and my poutine main. Highly recommend!
Spare décor but very friendly welcome by our waiter. The appetisers are quite tempting especially the cheddar sticks. The chicken wings tasted like they were made from real chicken! Good choice of poutines with always a seasonal one. The two we had were delicious. Reasonably prices, one of the best among the new poutine restaurants which seem to be sprouting everywhere in Paris at the moment.
Probably, no in fact by far the best Poutine I've had in Paris Been to Maison de Poutine and Moose. The Mac and cheese notes are amazing and I was impressed in how the pasta seemed fresh, not squashed and the cheese was in the right places. Poutine, great melting cheese, amazing sauce. Do I think it's kind of expensive for essentially a chips dish? Yes. But alot of thought, effort and quality has been out into the dish and the creation of it so I know where and why it is priced like so. Plus it's Paris, so I guess that counts too. Service a touch slow, but super friendly and a lovely place.
Looking for something different? This French/Canadian poutine will not disappoint. The chicken and the pork were both outstanding, and don't forget the brownie. Friendly place, off the beaten path. Check it out!
Food definitely filled a craving from my home town in Québec, but it was a bit too far from authentic flavor fries and gravy especially for my picky taste buds
