I've been looking for some good fatayer ever since I moved to Toronto from the Middle East. However, I wasn't able to find many spots in Toronto that made fresh fatayer most of them do frozen and frozen fatayers are as good as frozen pizzas. To find this joint in Kingston took me by surprise. I saw Ahmed prepare the fatayers fresh right in front of my eyes. We ordered 4 types of fatayer and all of them were really yum. I don't mind driving all the way from toronto just to have these fatayers. They are that good! Also the prices are unbelievably low.
Absolutely delicious! Friendly service and scrumptious food. The “Zaatar” was one of the best I have ever tried - flavours were subtle but pronounced, no bitter aftertaste. “Kunafe” equally good - mildly sweet and very pleasing. Thank you! Will most definitely go back to Kingston to try other items on the menu.
Yum yum yum, and wow...the owner/employees. Lived in Scarborough for about 5 years before moving here and I've really missed the varied cuisine. First experience here last summer with my best friend Pakistani-Torontonian. We finished our falafel wraps and agreed: could eat 5 of those things. Very fresh, made quickly carefully and thoughtfully. I know we're in Kingston, but don't be afraid to kick those spices up my friend! Awesome people prepping your food and we know that makes a big difference. Owner I think? effortlessly makes you feel like he's your best dude, just in the kitchen whipping something up to share while you two hang peacefully. I'm now a regular Uber customer...the deals, unbeatable. Yum food, amazing ownership. Buy a lottery ticket if you have a poor experience. Vegetarian options: Tons, easily check the menu here or on Uber eats. Kid-friendliness: The dude I see in there regularly is wicked respectful and has always been happy and easygoing. Parking: It's street parking, won't wait too long for your food, especially when you're the only one. Food made with care but efficiently. Wouldn't have to pay for parking, probably even if it's busy....I mean....it's Kingston afterall. Wheelchair accessibility: I'm reaching here, but about 80% sure...just a classic plaza type of hole in the wall restaurant. Go past, and you'd probably miss it.
I was astonished by how the dood was so tasty and traditional, they offered us drink on the house, I really liked it, if someone's gonna visit Kingston and want some halal food, I recommend him to visiti Sindibad.Food: 5/5
The Kindest people! Super affordable! Food is an awesome vegetarian staple for me here in Kingston.Food: 5/5
Been going here since they opened. Have found that the amount of zaatar/cheese they put on has decreased significantly and the prices have gone up by a minimum of 25% in the last year.
Excellent food at great prices. I really like the variety of flavourful dishes they have on offer. Can't really beat it if you enjoy Middle Eastern food and are looking for a well-priced meal.
Ordered the chicken shawarma plate. Everything was delicious, especially the garlic sauce! I will be making a trip back again!
Really good. We tried the beef fatayer and mohammara and cheese. Both were delicious. Kanafeh was good and not that sweet.
The food is unbelievably good. The cheese and chicken fatayer is so tasty and the prices are also very low for the quality of food.Food: 5/5
