Have been here a few times and have to say, so I’ll say, never disappointed. We were recently in Paris where we had a awful experience with McDonalds, lucky there was a kebab shop across the street and well, long story short the best French tacos are in Paris. Second best in Toronto at a place called BricknCheese. The portion size is perfect, the taste, wonderful. The amount of cheese to meat ratio, just right. Highly recommend the farmer brick minus the mushrooms if you don’t like mushrooms.
Okay, the wonderful french are masters of culinary arts and whimsical names, so I knew a "french taco" was gonna be different, but it turns out the taco is actually a giant burrito . Their ad popped up on Instagram and I was hooked. Hopped on 510 Streetcar from Union and changed to 506 at College and Spadina. The location is very convenient, staff is incredibly friendly and easy on the eyes . Ordered the L'authentique, filled with crunchy fries, tender meat and lots of cheese. Seriously, this is not a drill, I need this every weekend. Their service was also pretty fast. The Taco aka burrito just melts in your mouth and it legit feels like a warm hug for your tummy. I hope they open a bunch of locations all over the city. My verdict, the most underrated place in Toronto. And yes, we'll be back for more this weekend.
Food was good and service was great. The staff answered all my questions, and even talked to me while the brick was being made. They have fresh mushrooms! No canned mushrooms is always a plus. They could have spread out the toppings a bit more evenly, some bites were full of jalepinos, others have none.
Never tried the spot before But the food was hella good Especially them protein thangs bebe Customer service was really good as well They have tiramisu I have never tried that in my life but I did here It was really good I highly recommend Definitely gotta eat here again when I'm in the area I'm Mr viral don't forget to follow me on ig @jmanthemastermindwingmaker
The food is good, but they sell the same product for two different prices.Ask for the combo. Edit: we initially did not notice the promotion banner, so we ordered two medium bricks the cashier charged $36 with taxes, no sides, no pops. While we were waiting for our order, we noticed the banner: two medium bricks + pops + sides for $29. After we see that I asked the cashier why she did advised us about the promotion, and she said I am not here to let you know, the banner is here you have to see it. We left with two medium bricks paying more than what we should have paid.
Anyone who complains about the quality of food here and are born and raised in Toronto DO NOT KNOW what REAL quality food is. This place is comparable to an “above average establishment” within any major European city. You simply can’t find anything like this place in North America. I would give 6/5 if I could. 5/5 stars doesn’t even do this place justice! Will be coming back again like I did last time! And again, and again :
Late dinner but a tasty one. Decided to pop by after work and try this place out. I had seen it on Instagram first and it was totally worth it. I got the original cheese brick which had chicken breast and ground beef proteins along with french fries, pickles and lots of cheese and sauce. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the mood for a cheesy burrito. Halal options available.
It used to be great! Wraps were flavourful and fries were amazing. But tried them lately and they have become less tasty and more bland. Definitely noted the fries have changed.
If I could give 10 stars I would!! Brick n Cheese is the best guilty pleasure. Also whenever I order Uber Eats it always shows up hot and fresh!!! Best food coma ever
Wasn’t sure what to expect and am not a fan of burritos or fries stuffed in anything I like my fries crispy, thanks, but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and didn’t feel overly heavy. Price felt appropriate, also. Would order again.
