Milou

Milou is a cool vibrant spot with some really delicious and flavourful elevated dishes. Nice little patio outside on the corner, and the Interior has a chic vibe to it. Great spot to share food with others over cocktails or wine. The steak tartar was really rich and delicious - good quality meat served with some fresh pistachios. Really loved the grilled octopus! The sauce was incredible and the octopus had a great char to it. Served with some vegetables to balance it out - good portion.

I visited there at lunch time, and they were full at that time. The inside was very lively and customers seemed to enjoy staying for long time and talking. Although we were a little bit in a hurry, there were too many customers compared to the number of servers, so it took us a while to order the foods. The foods were super delicious and their smoked salmon salad consisted of fresh veggies, many slices of salmon, and lots of small accents like citrus and crunchy stuff. I just loved it! Also, if you want take an instagrammable pictures, it's a place to go.

We went here for brunch over the weekend and had a delightful experience. The brunch menu is a little bit limited, however, every dishes we ordered were well executed and tasted amazing. The scrambled egg with bacon is phenomenal, it’s creamy, well balanced, and full of flavor; also not to mention the generous servings. It also pairs well with the freshly-brewed Latte or Mocha. One downside is that it can get very busy and you would have to wait in line for a seat. But that’s a sign of a great restaurant if people are willing to wait! Service was also great, our wait staff was attentive, courteous, and friendly. Overall, I would come here again especially if I’m around the area.

Cute, casual, French bistro in the west end of Toronto. My favorite dish was l’escargot snails. I actually find most French restaurants don’t offer this dish, but this one does! The snails were so soft and just the best texture! It truly was the highlight. Their duck leg was also very delicious. Came with a bed of mushrooms that was so tasty and flavorful. I also ordered a salad, which I never do, that came with blue cheese and pork belly. I literally felt like the salad was worth the price and I would eat it again. I never had such a tasty salad like that! Overall would recommend for a date or going with friends. Milou has casual vibes so it doesn’t need to be a fancy thing

Lovely brunch at a beautiful little French bistro inspired spot. The eggs are a beautiful creamy scramble and the salmon salad is incredible! Very light and fresh. The croque madame may be my favourite thing on the breakfast menu though. It’s the perfect balance of cheesiness and saucy sometimes restaurants put on too much cheese and cream.

Amazing place for brunch! The food and ambiance were fantastic. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon & an oat milk cappuccino which I would definitely have again. The fries were also a big hit with the table! Highly recommend! They only take walk ins but they text you when your table is ready and there are plenty of little cafes in the area to go and wait! We were a group of 3 and got there around 1 on a Saturday and had to wait about 25 mins for a table so not bad! I’ll definitely be back for dinner. The wine list also looked fabulous!

Came here for dinner - the food was amazing. We sat outside but wish we could have sat inside as the vibe seemed really fun. We had the grilled peaches, escargot and steak. Everything was amazing, especially the steak that was well seasoned and tender. Would definitely go again

Came on a Saturday morning for brunch and the restaurant was very busy. Ordered the Milou burger and the french toast. The burger was juicy and the fries were crispy and not oily. The french toast was absolutely delicious and came with a rhubarb sauce that paired so well. Definitely recommended to come and try.

Milou's food is cooked well and flavor combos are good! I thought the fondue could've come with more bread/pickles, since it was pricey and a group of us didn't finish the pot. Otherwise, I thought the duck was delicious and so was the fish.Food: 4/5

Was recommended by a friend to check this place out. I was really craving steak and the steak and frites did NOT disappoint. It was absolutely delicious — our cocktails were delicious as well. Our server, Alex, was 10/10, one of the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Can’t wait to come back!
