Hi there, good morning. I like to go to this facility and enjoy the gym and pool, but I am upset of what happened and sending this review to let you guys know what is going on... I went to Bonsor in Metrotown some weeks ago, and learned there is a volleyball drop-in there on Fridays and this is fantastic! I would love to join it. I was told that I should do the registration online, is not possible to join without previous registration that opens 2 days before for Burnaby residents. Sounds fair, but the problem is... I was checking the website to do my registration, and I was following minute by minute to do it, exactly at 10 AM, once it opens, at 9:59 AM there were more than 80 spots available, but no permission to enroll yet... When it was 10 AM, I just updated the online page and the activity showed as FULL, with no spots for more registration. It seems like there is no chance for you to register online for that, and I start to ask myself, how more than 80 people register themselves individually in less than 2 seconds? So, I don't know what is going on... I really would like please, some clarification on it. It seems impossible for a newcomer to join this activity. Thank you so much.
This Review is quite honestly overdue. I have been wanting to hop on here to give a high five! and praise to JUSTIN! the life guard on duty at the pool. It is quite honestly hard not to notice the level of care, friendliness and professionalism JUSTIN brings to his everyday work day. He treats kids, adults and seniors with the same tender loving care as should. He treats and cares about the facility as his own. As a business owner this is a golden child to have as your patriot, college and Patron in your business. I would hire JUSTIN in a blink of an eye ! keep up the good work JUSTIN you are well on your way to success my friend. It is a delight to see your smiling face every morning ! a smile ! at 6am in the morning says everything about your integrity and care about what you do! THANK YOU MY FRIEND !
Very nice facility with many classes and facilities. Noted fitness room, classes, kids activities. Snack bar too
Bonsor staff supports thieves... After so many break-ins at the lockers, they still haven’t canceled their use or placed them in a secure area where people can safely leave their belongings. Thieves broke into around five lockers today, stealing everything! They also used my credit card, racking up over $1,000 in charges before I could block it. I'm sure the Bonsor staff will continue keeping the lockers available for honest people, only for them to be stolen from.
Great facility, very well equipped.nI have been using the weight room for the past three years during the designated 55+ Seniors time slot Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:30-11:30am and I can’t be more complimentary of the staff than the 5 stars allow. They are helpful, friendly and most of all very supportive of us all as we work to slow down the impacts of aging!
