We got a table for 2 on a Friday evening, and the restaurant was fairly empty. Ordered soon tofu with seafood other options included kimchi or pork, pork bone soup had a generous portion of pork, and beef dumplings light and crispy!. The flavours were all authentic, and the service was fast. They provide the bill at the end with free Yakult, which was a nice touch.
Excellent Korean restaurant in the neighborhood. Super friendly service, refills on banchan, and all the food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu! The seafood pancake was delicious as was the jampong, and chicken stir fry, and the crispy thin skin on the beef dumplings.Food: 5/5
I recently visited Bon Korean restaurant for lunch on a Friday, and I'm thrilled to say it's a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. Upon arrival, the place fully packed, but we were fortunate to find a table for two. The staff were incredibly friendly and informed us that the food might take around 20 minutes due to their busy period. I appreciate the attention to detail that this wait time suggests, but I hope they consider adding more staff to ensure quicker service in the future. Our appetizer actually arrived after our main course, which was a bit unexpected. Despite that, the food was outstanding. We tried the samgyupsal special, ddukbbokki, and bulgogi chulpan, and each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Portions were generous, and we had leftovers to enjoy at home. Overall, a promising Korean restaurant in the neighborhood, and with a few adjustments, it could be even better. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of their menu items!
I recommend trying their Jjampopong tastes amazing, super hot, super spicy, full of flavor. The other dishes taste nice as well. The staff are super friendly. In general, it's great to have a Korean restaurant in the neighborhood.Food: 4/5
What an AMAZING experience! The food was incredible. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend. Authentic Korean! Food: 5/5
A mediocre Korean restaurant at best, wouldn't bother to go back given other much better Korean restaurants nearby for less money. Ordered the gamjatang soup. Got a very sad bowl of soup with the prerequisite pork bones with only a tiny potato floating in it. Most other places include a stack of boiled kimchi/bean sprouts on top for added flavor and texture. Cost would be minimal to do this and would have made the soup so much more inspired. As an appetizer ordered squid rings. They showed up after my gamjatang arrived. What I got was a tiny serving of frozen grocery store calamari. Seriously? If that is the best you can do you should take the squid rings off the menu, its an embarrassment for you. The banchan side dishes were well below average, neither fresh nor imaginative. 2 of the 4 dishes were potato based, which just screams "cheap". Overall a disappointing experience, with a little effort it could have been so much better. I don't like giving reviews with low ratings but everything about this restaurant says "Don't Care, just eat/pay/and get out".
An absolute gem! The food was so fresh and delicious! The staff were all very welcoming and attentive! I highly recommend this little spot! We will most definitely be visiting on a regular basis.Food: 5/5
The best Korean food I’ve had in Mississauga! The restaurant was simple but clean and comfortable. The plants that decorated the interior were pretty; our table had a succulent inside a teapot which was cute! We ordered the Kimchi Jigae, Dolsot Bibimbap, Bulgogi Chulpan, Galbi Deopbap. They even gave us complementary 4 pcs Gyeranmari Korean egg roll. Everything was so tasty, including the banchan. They were generous with the portions and with the meat in the dishes — we were all full afterwards and had extra to take home too. The staff were very kind and attentive and the food came quickly. They gave us each a bottle of Yakult, which was a lovely surprise and a good ending to the meal. Highly recommend!
Got to try this brand new korean restaurant today with my family of ten. Great service from beginning to end, food was fresh and tasty and super clean. Reminds me of Korea's food more than other local chain sometimes do. Excited to have this on the west end closer to home for us. Got the bibimbap, bulgogi, soon tofu soup, jampong spicy seafood soup, japchae and pork cutlet. Everything was yummy but fav was bibimbap and jampong which was actually spicy and full of seafood. Family run and friendly service. Looking forward to going back!
We were happy to learn that a new Korean restaurant opened up close by. We really enjoyed the food and the staff were really nice. Location is great and the restaurant is clean, highly recommend!
