Goldenview Chinese Restaurant

Highly recommended ! In town for a soccer tournament rolled the dice on take out and won the lottery. We ordered a dinner for 5, it came complete with plates and cutlery. This was some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Great job to all at the Golden View !

I found a large metal staple in the shrimp fried rice dish. Very unsafe and unclean to find a foreign object in the food. Goldenview Chinese Restaurant is unclean and does not handle or prepare food properly. Stay far away and do not order from this place unless you like eating foreign objects.

Delicious, old-school Chinese food! Finally had a chance to order take-out on my way home from work. We ordered: spicy garlic ribs, house special egg foo yong, house fried rice, Singapore noodles, & Szechuan beef. Food was so fresh and tasty. Will definitely order from here again, as it is one of my favourite places now! The only dish that I didn't care for was the ribs - which were thick pieces and slightly fatty, but that was my own impression. Everything else was great!

***Update May 2021*** This Chinese / Canadian restaurant is the GOLD standard IMHO. Man, their flavours and "Wok-Hey" on their combo dinners or lunch specials are simply outstanding. They are the exception to this category of Chinese restaurants. They really have amped up flavours for all discerning foodies. Give them a try and let us all know what you think. They get and deserve 5 STARS !!! Please support these local Mom & Pop restaurants. This is a Home Run into left field alley at a ball speed of 108 MPH !!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I happened upon this restaurant as I was driving through the area. I have never realized that there was a Chinese restaurant before. So I decided to order take out lunch. I ordered the C1 and the C8. The portions were quite generous and I particularly enjoyed the chicken chow menu in the C1 Bean Sprouts and the chicken balls. They were rather memorable. Service was quick and efficient. A++ experience all the way here.

Here's the real review. I'm not an easy marker look at my others!! Ordered today and first time trying. I ordered through Uber eats. The food was some of my favorite Chinese I've had in peel region. I will go as far to say those were the best chicken balls I've had since I lived in London Ontario 30 years ago. Chicken chop suey was above expectations. Beef and ten vegetables was better than I was expecting and good portion of beef to veg Fried rice was a decent Chicken balls best I've had 10 out of 10 Egg rolls up to standard and cooked perfect I highly recommend this place! Maybe best Chinese take out I've tried Keep up the great work guys! And anyone reading this - get in there now and order!

Tried Goldenview for the first time and I was impressed! Prompt service, friendly staff and the chow mein was very tasty. Looking forward to trying more.

I started doing take-out on a weekly basis during the start of the pandemic when there was only take-out/curbside pick-up for restaurant business and we wanted to support a local spot. The food has always been excellent and always friendly. Highly recommend.

First time I went there after viewing the reviews. I don't know if these were honest reviews or have these people actually tasted chinese food before. Because the price does not reflect the quality of the food. However, the people were very welcoming.

A go to for over 30 years now. Excellent food and service.
