Great place to eat Iraqi food. Taste was nice. Ample serving. 15 mins wait to be seated. Server forgot to bring chicken skewers in the platter, which we pointed out. Overall a satisfactory experience. Prices not too high. Around $80 for 3 people.Food: 4/5

I liked everything about this place. The vibes are unbelievably great, so busy on the weekend, you just want to continue watching the people while the staff are bringing more and more of the good smelling sizzling different BBQ plates. The bread is fresh and baked in the restaurant, you can't stop asking for more. They serve food with passion and love. You can feel it before tasting it. Going back soon to taste different choices from the menu.

Food is great especially lamb shank, service could have been a lot better. The wait time is huge in the peak hours, will probably just order take out. From price perspective I would say some dishes are reasonable but some seem to be expensive Parking: It’s located in one of the busiest plaza of Missisauga so the parking gets filled up fast during evening hours but the plaza is big so you may still find something but far from the restaurant

We had a delicious meal here. The quality of the food here is mind-blowing and truly exceptional. The chicken was marinated to perfection and the bread was also world class. I strongly recommend coming here for the dine in experience as the customer service was also very good. Overall, I would come back here in the future!Food: 5/5

I thought it was okay shawarma. I think if I got it on a regular wrap I would've enjoyed it. Other then that the ingredients tasted fresh and the service was super quick despite the restraunt being packed. This food is very filling so come with an empty stomach. Has washroom on site. One of the best Iraqi restaurants in the city. Really enjoyed their Baghdadi Mix Platter, which came with a grilled whole chicken, beef and lamb kebabs. Meat was smoky and flavourful. Well-lit restaurant but can get packed in the evenings, through midnight

Excellent food rated 5 stars but the service leaves much to be desired. TLDR: You don't pay just with your money, but also your time. When you go here, prepare to wait. You wait 30-40 minutes for your turn to get a table. Once you get the table, you wait 20 minutes for someone to clean it. When you raise it to them, they say we are short staffed and please be patient. You order your food, it comes quickly but they forget the two garlic sauce you ordered. You ask, they bring but only one. Halfway through the meal, you remind them for the second one as the first one is finishing. They take 15 minutes to bring you a bloody garlic sauce, without which you cannot enjoy your mixed grill which is getting cold by the minute. In the end, you finish and no one is there to give you a bill or take away box. You go to the counter, ask to pay, then review the bill and find out you were overcharged! Ask for an adjustment, pay the bill, ask twice for take away box and finally get to leave. Food was phenomenal, everything else was not.

Sumak Restaurant offers delicious cuisine, satisfying the taste buds with flavorful dishes. However, the overall dining experience was hindered by extensive wait times—first to place our order and then for the arrival of the food. Despite this drawback, the restaurant impresses with its tasteful decoration, creating a pleasant ambiance. The staff's welcoming demeanor adds a positive touch to the atmosphere. If the service efficiency could match the quality of the food and ambiance, Sumak would undoubtedly provide an even more enjoyable dining experience.

Worth the hype! One of the most authentic Iraqi cuisine. Reminded me of my days back in my country! Nostalgic food. Great service. All the hosts were smiling and welcoming the vibe was full positive. Food portions perfect! Pricing adequate! Amazing ambience, clean tables, washrooms. The furniture is ideal for seating comfortably and not struggling to reach for your food on your own table. Balanced spacing among all tables. Parking: Open plaza.

Great atmosphere, the vibe is real. Loved the Iraqi bread and garlic potatoes. Had Sumaq’s mix grill in which chicken tikka skewers were my favourite. Will definitely visit again to try other dishes.Food: 4/5
