Pelicana Chicken

Best fried chicken we ever had! Every dishes came with radish or salads which is a great idea when it comes to order Fried chicken. Snow cheese is definitely one of my favorite. Creamy and crunchy deep fried chicken with tender boneless chicken. And the signature Pelicana is also greatly tasty which is not too spicy but unique. Incredible options for casual hangout or movie nightout!

Really enjoyed the food here. Great Korean staples are here. We had the Tteokbokki, kimchi fried rice, snow cheese fries, spicy Pelicana chicken and snow cheese chicken. The chicken is really tender and crispy here. We really liked the coating. The kimchi fried rice was nice, flavourful and we enjoyed the rice egg on top. Can never go wrong with snow cheese

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained. The service is amazing. The food was absolutely delicious! We’ve been here twice, our favourites are the cheese balls, the boneless fried chicken in Dak Gang Jung, Soy Sauce, and the wings in Snow Cheese Purrio and Hot Devil. Next time we look forward to trying some of the rice dishes and the tteokbokki. This is a total gem of a restaurant!

I heard about Pelicana through my cousins in the USA along with youtube so I was very interested when I saw one was opening in Mississauga. My wife and I finally got to try it and I must say there is a new korean fried chicken king in town! An absolute must try! It's personally my favorite fried chicken place now and I've tried many in Mississauga like B.B.Q Chicken, Chicken Plus, The Fry, K-Pocha, Sikgaek etc. which are all great too. We got the Pelicana signature and Garlic both boneless and medium size. The breading is perfect! Not too heavy, it's crispy and light. The boneless chicken was extremely juicy. I think they leave the skin on which is similar to Japanese kaarage and that's why it's so juicy! The Pelicana signature is tasty! Similar to the yangnyeom flavor you'd find at most korean joints. The garlic was very tasty. It tasted as if you took a bite of a stir fried garlic piece! Delicious and high in garlic flavor! The side dishes were fantastic as well and come with the chicken. The mu raddish was sweet and crunchy and the corn mayo was super as well! Both were delicious side dishes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and they answered our questions with ease pertaining to the menu. They checked up on us often to see if everything was good. Overall a very friendly place! The decor and atmosphere was fantastic! My wife and I will definetly be back again...and again and again!! A perfect score from me! Thank you Pelicana for opening up in Mississauga!

It was amazing spot in Mississauga, went with my friends from Ottawa, we absolutely loved it. Highly recommended try their fried chicken, we tried signature & soy sauce, soy sauce definitely my favourite, definitely back again to try the rest of menu. P.S the girl server was so nice

Great service and great food! Only bone to pick is that it’s extremely hot in the restaurant. I know it can get that way when it’s hot outside plus fryers going all day but personally I was not comfortable dining in. I packed my food away and ate it at home moments after receiving it. I would go back for takeout or on a cooler day. I had the signature spicy pelicana sauce and it was delicious, request it on the side so you get the ultimate crispness. It was perfect to balance the sweet cheesy corn and coleslaw on the side.

Food is great. I love sweet and spicy chicken so I ordered the Spicy Pelicana signature. We Got our chicken hot, fresh and Crispy. Never tried Tteokbokki before, but we had it as an appetizer with Ramen noodles and it tasted good.Recommended dishes

Got the medium sized signature fried chicken for just over $20. Good quality and fried well, but lacks the punchy umami flavour I come to expect from traditional Korean fried chicken. Worth trying a 2nd time for something stronger.Food: 4/5

Another great tasting Korean fried chicken location in Mississauga. Their boneless chicken has minimal amount of batter and still quite crispy. Their pelicana spicy signature is decently spicy and very flavorful.Food: 5/5

So far, so good. We tried as many of their offerings as we could: Original, Peli Crunch, Soy Sauce, Garlic and Snow Cheese Purrio. My favourite would have to be Peli Crunch because I enjoyed the texture and how well-seasoned it was. My #2 would have to be Soy Sauce because it was the right amount of sweetness, and #3 would be Snow Cheese just because it was fun to eat. As of this moment, however, I’m craving all five flavours equally. The ambience was nice, but it might have been a little too dark for me in there, so it was helpful that they had the big window at the front to draw some natural light in. I would go back, I liked my experience, but my only qualm about giving this five stars is as much as the server was pleasant, the wait time was longer than expected, but maybe it does take time to fry the wings up. My actual rating would have to be a 4.3, but because it is revisit-able, the flavours are FLY, and there is potential for consistently amazing food, five stars it is.
