Story

For us climbing is more than just a sport, it is our passion. It has become the way we identify ourselves. It has allowed us to travel the world, experience new cultures, and build meaningful friendships. In doing so we have become a part of an amazing community.

We have been apart of this community for the majority of our lives. We have been fortunate to have constant encouragement and support from many who want nothing more than to see us succeed. We’ve reached a point in our lives where we want to give back. We want to grow and strengthen our community because we have experienced first hand the opportunity it can create for someone.

Never tried bouldering till today!nnThis place is super cool. Staff helped me and my dad with the waiver which took 2 minutes. We paid for a day pass + climbing shoes for each of us. We got changed in the bathroom which has a shower + changing section. A little tight but understandable. There are lockers inside too. I kept my wallet and any other valuables inside but not necessary, this place was really safe and proper. People leaving phones whenever and no one doing anything inappropriate.nnThe climbing was really fun. Super easy and chill to find a spot and go for it. The system involves taking turns while you are waiting/taking a break to recover. tons of nice and chill people all around to help with any questions. The back corner also has a small gym section for building your grip strength and finger strength. That was fun to see people doing all kinds of craziness in that corner.nnI love this place and I will definitely be back.

This is a fantastic spot, especially for newbies like me! The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere really make a difference.nIt’s well-equipped with everything you might need: changing rooms, lockers, showers, a coffee and snack bar, dumbbells, and more.

Great gym! Good setting a little soft imo, friendly staff, fine workout and seating areas. Resetting is frequent, and they seem to put on events quite frequently! They have a good variety of beverages and climbing products for sale as well.nnA moonboard, and a good spray wall with community-set problems on the Stokt app put the cherry on top of this gym, making it one of the best in Calgary.nnOne critique: the bass level of their acoustic system is deafening.

Super friendly staff and great community environment. Very queer friendly, felt like a fun safe space for me to try something new. Will definitely be back!

Best gym in Calgary! Especially for a boulderer nBut in all seriousness...  Bolder and the staff are bright, warm, clean, friendly and the setting is great! They also have a cute cafe that serves vegan sandwiches and their own roasted coffee. So sad to be leaving Calgary soon, as I would absolutely LOVE to climb here again.nnThe only downside is that it’s slightly inconvenient to access by public transit, especially in the winter - but then again none of the Calgary gyms super accessible.nnP.S. A day pass is only $10 if you go before 12pm! Pretty sweet deal imo.
