Tried to contact the business directly through their page to avoid blasting them publicly, but it wouldn't accept the captcha, so here we are. Waited almost an hour for a cab in an urban area outside of peak time. They called to assure we were priority, and it was still another half an hour. When the driver arrived, they almost immediately cranked the music to a ridiculous level, then proceeded to text their friends for a good portion of the ride. They weren't even trying to be discreet, they had their phone mounted on the dash. I can get over my day being delayed by whatever was going on for the company, but taking the lives of me and my fellow passengers into danger is where I draw the line. People literally use cabs as a safe ride. This was anything but safe. I'm thoroughly disappointed in the company for allowing these types of employees to drive folks around. Sadly, I'm not really surprised and I'll probably never use them again. Stay clear of this company if you want a safe ride.
I was in Victoria for Work and so We cabbed to and from Our sites daily. Most of the drivers were very good, However I have to say there were several who were not. Wait times were ridiculous both for the taxis and on hold with the dispatch. I had a couple shady experiences ie: offering to fill out the receipts for work as more than the ride was including a driver who picked up his spouse on the way To my destination! That’s a first.
I trusted the cab service for over seven years, and not once I had an issue with them or their services, until today. I booked for services through their app. While the driver came quickly, they left just as quick to cancel my request as I was having some issues trying to leave my home. It wasn’t even five minutes before I finally outside to see the cab driver no where to be found. I logged into the app to find it was canceled. I phone for a company, but no one answer when the operator transfer me to the department, so I left a voicemail. This extremely unprofessional, and unacceptable. I’m extremely disappointed by this latest experience with Bluebirds. I don’t use the services often through the seven years trusting them, but today hit a new low for me.
The worst company ever! Never ever try it or think about it!!!! We were waiting for the car that we called for in front of Butchart and the taxi took the other customer! After 40 min waiting we called them and a lady answered! She was really rood and unprofessional! We asked If the car came why he didn’t contact us before he decided to leave?!? There were yellow cabs and i saw they were calling the customers to pick them up! Definitely, i picked them not your business! The customer service is 0. I wished I knew the lady’s name! It happened October 8 at 16:00.
Booked an cab ride to event day before arrived no problem. Cab driver was nice. Phoned for a pick up at event waited an hour, people jumped ahead, phoned back and asked if cab could pick up by name. Dispatcher said they have been doing this job for 65 years. No estimated time for wait time , not helpful at all walked home took 2 hrs. Dispatcher should retire. Time for uber.
Have had to use Bluebird to get to and from home/work due to car repairs and other social events, a total of 5 times in the last two weeks. All of the drivers have been very courteous, cabs are super clean, and all have driven safely. Hold times on the phone have also been short, with the longest being maybe 3 minutes.
Good customer service! Arrived on time and got me to my destination on time. I'd give them 5 starts except I ordered a taxi for new years well in advance one year using the app. I ordered it to arrive shortly after midnite to avoid busy times when bars close. The taxi did not show up and i received no notification that it was cancelled or anything of the sort. It was as if the reservation was ignored. I kind of expected it given it was new years so I'm not entirely frustrated.
Last month my husband took cab 51 home and the driver left with his back pack in the trunk, while he was taking groceries out. Reported to police for theft as there was cash in his bag. Company says they don't have a cab 51 and the $1000 disability chq for the month is gone. My neighbors a cab driver who is beyond reproach; however I wouldn't trust 51 with anything. I won't be calling bluebird anytime soon.
I tried to use this service. I called an hour before my pick up time to schedule. Confirmed the taxi. They sent automated notification car is scheduled to come as I ordered. Then I waited. And waited and called and confirmed again and waited. Ridiculous. Two calls and 30 minutes later. I called and was told they did not have a cab yet for me and could not confirm one. What kind of service is that?? No service at all. I had a flight to catch. Will NEVER use again. You cannot count on them and no accountability to care for their whole point of being in business which is to get people where they need to be on time!!
Most drivers are great, but their dispatch is a joke and they dont care when their company makes mistakes. Waited 30 mins for a cab that I ordered through the app happens, whatever but then my app said that they picked me up when they hadn’t. I couldn’t message the driver because I was supposedly in the cab. I called the dispatch, was on hold 10 mins, and was told that I was beat and to call another company, because I was “upset”. I think I have a right to be upset when I’m waiting almost an hour for cab in the middle of the night. Never again am I using bluebird.
