Known in my circle as "the putt-putts", I used to take one of these to work every day in 1990 when they were based in Vancouver. It's a great way to get around the Gorge or Inner Harbour. If you're a tourist the driver will probably fill you in on local history or goings-on.

We went on the Gorge waterway tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, the boat ride itself was fun. Definitely a must-do.

They can't handle traffic on Canada Day weekend. Had to wait around FOR-EV-ER and watch so many taxis pass me by. Once on, it was great, but watch your head! I'm six feet tall and banged my head pretty good. No warning anywhere about the low overhang. Taxi driver was great. Just be ready for a loooooooong wait during peak times/days. You can probably walk faster.
