Bike Dump

I have gone here a couple times to get PARTS that would otherwise be difficult to match somewhere else (e.g. rear and front axles). They had what I needed at a reasonable price. My transactions were fairly quick and I knew what I wanted. I have not looked at their bikes, so can't really comment on their bikes. I did purchase one new part recently from them and was charged more than I could get it for online. This is a good place to get hard to find used parts, but I would not recommend buying new parts here. Check Amazon first.

I've been doing business with Dave for over five years now. He's the go to guy when you need a used bike or a part you that's rare and hard to find. I've bought everything from parts, low end commuters all the way to high end downhill bikes. The staff are professional and courteous and know what they're doing.

Dave's mission in life is to ensure all customers have the bic that fits their needs & personality. His excentric, opinionated and somewhat initiatally abrasive personality masks an extremely caring individual who genuinely cares about customers. After sales service is unmatched. The only place to go in Ottawa if u want a used bic.

This place was a complete joke!! I looked at their website and it states that you can find an adult bike starting at $30. Considering they pick them from the garbage I found this to be reasonable. I show up and take a look around, my chin hit the floor. A 30 year old, rusted out super cycle mountain bike that weighs about 80 lbs they are asking $90 for!! Are you kiddin me? I think they charge a premium for the rust. Apparently I'm in the wrong business. I'm going straight to Canadian tire, buying all their bikes, parking them on my lawn and charging double what I paid. I'm going to call it " Ride-a-way Ripp-off "

Wow. These people ignore you when you ask questions. I thought it was just me or we had a bad rapport until literally all the other reviews are the same. It's a shame this could be a great community place if the owners were not totally ignorant and rude to people. It is as described, this place is a dump.
