We barely had to wait for seats! Once we were placed in the queue, we got to choose our meats, veggies, and broth first, then waited briefly to be seated. Even on a Friday night around 8 PM, the wait for two people was under 5 minutes — very efficient. The food was decent and already quite flavorful even without the self-serve seasoning, though the temperature could’ve been a bit hotter. Overall, a solid and smooth dining experience!
Big Way Hot Pot in Richmond is absolutely phenomenal! This was our third visit to one of their locations, and I’m blown away by how consistently outstanding the service, quality, and decor are across the board. The food is incredibly fresh, with an impressive selection of ingredients that make every bite a delight. The vibrant atmosphere and stylish decor elevate the experience, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. A special highlight is the matcha free ice cream cone—such a fun and delicious treat to cap off the meal! Hands down, Big Way Hot Pot is the best hot pot I’ve had in the Vancouver area. Highly recommend to anyone craving an exceptional dining experience! And a favorite choice is always the little rice cake rolls. So yummy.
I love big way. The pay what it weighs model is super nice for budgeting while still being able to get a fairly flavourful meal. I love hotpot but it's also super nice that someone will make your food combination for you. The tomato soup broth is delicious and I loved the flavours of the ingredients I chose. It can be a bit busy so it can feel a bit crowded sometimes, but I would say the food is worth it. The staff are fairly prompt with anything that needs to be addressed. There is complimentary ice cream at the end.
Loved this self-service hotpot spot! Super fresh ingredients, a clean and well-stocked bar, and broths that actually have depth, I really like the bone based soup. Pricing felt fair, staff kept everything tidy, and the sauce station was a dream. Great for groups and picky eaters; everyone builds exactly what they want.
Foods alright, kinda like a hotpot style, where you pick out all the foods you like and select a broth, then they will cook it for you and then serve it to your table. My only complain is the price. It is very ez to go over board and order a plate worth over $50. A good place to try once and never again.
