I recently traveled to the Walkerton Ontario area for business and chose to stay at the Best Western Hotel & Convention Center since it was the largest branded hotel in the area. I admit I was initially disappointed that it didn’t have a restaurant attached, but that disappointment disappeared rapidly when I saw the well-stocked breakfast buffet which included eggs cooked your way (great omelets!) by an attentive morning chef. Plus, there are several close-by restaurants that I tried and thoroughly enjoyed for their fine food selections, large portion sizes and friendly service. The bed was comfortable, the shower was perfect, the room was modern and nicely appointed. In fact, this was one of the better hotel experiences I’ve had in the past year, and I travel every week. I would highly recommend this location to others traveling to this area, and though I have not recently been using the Best Western brand, I will be looking at using them more in the future as a result of this good experience.

This is an excellent and comfortable place to stay. We stayed here for three nights while we were on a goose hunting trip. Very friendly staff. Warm, comfortable beds and very clean! clean clean clean! I can't wait until we stay there again this year. Take 'em!

What a fantastic hotel ..... so clean .... service outstanding ..... staff exceptional! Every detail down to the staff getting gluten free bread and lactose free milk for breakfast .... often cannot get this in a 5 star hotel. Great beds! This is a gem!

Rural setting, surrounded by farmland. Peaceful. Charming town of Walkerton. Not far to Lake Huron in the summer. Pool area very warm, and spotless. Breakfast bar includes everything you can think of. Eggs made to order. Ambience excellent as are the staff and Bonnie the Manager.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, and the beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was much more than expected. We would stay here again.
