Best Buy

Thank you to JP in electronics for helping us select a new home theatre system a few months back. Haven't had a chance to realize how well everything works until now. Appreciate the service and reliable install team.

Guys on the TV department were quite helpful. they were not pushy at all , and gave us plenty of time to make our choice. We were never forced to get a higher value TV. Instead we were told what the pros and cons were an all options. Great service! Very different from those days were you were pushed to get the expensive item plus the usual add-on warranty. The only downside was that we had forgotten our Best Buy credit card and we were told that we couldn't do a purchase even though we had a copy of our latest statement.

It's places like this that spell the doom of brick and mortar stores. I spoke to a person on the phone who assured me before making the trip there through heavy snow that if my defective product was still under warranty (which it was) I could return for an exchange or upgrade. This wasn't the case after speaking to inept and uninterested staff at various levels who were on duty and who explained to me that Best Buy's return policy for defective merchandise is 30 days! How do these guys retain customers and stay in business? Zero stars.

Man, these best buy stores are just the worse at customer service.. like I don't get it, Amazon is eating them alive, and the only thing that can keep them afloat, they are not doing well. Its like they avoid eye contact with you, and when they help, they all about over selling crappy extended warranties..

Customer service is horrible. Every time I'm here I can't get a sales rep. Been waiting for over 30 minutes, I even asked for help and that rep didn't even stopped, he simply said "il get you someone, I'm busy"... It's Monday morning, store just opened and there's like 4 clients in the store... I needed up leaving after 35-40 minutes...
