Apple Fairview Pointe-Claire

I’m only leaving three starts because the service is not consistent at all. It’s either great or it’s terrible. No one in between.

I called the Apple Store at Fairview to follow up on an online order and was extremely disappointed with the service I received. The person who answered the phone did not provide her name and refused to do so when asked—a basic courtesy and essential for any customer service interaction.nnHer dismissive and indifferent attitude was unacceptable and not what I expect from a brand like Apple. It felt as though customer care was the last thing on her mind. Apple may make great products, but experiences like this seriously undermine the brand’s reputation.nnI’ve requested a callback from her supervisor and hope Apple takes this seriously. Let’s see if the follow-up reflects the standards Apple claims to uphold.

Bought a Macbook, and made an appointment to pickup it up at the store. As we were instructed by the staff at the entrance, we waited at the pickup table... for over 30 minutes. No employees came to help, and when we asked around for assistance, they just keep saying to wait at the table, someone will come, and it won't be long. Yes, the store was busy, but there were plenty of staff just standing on the sides doing nothing. A customer who arrived after us got their order before we did, yet we waited for 30+ minutes already. A simple pickup that could've taken 10 minutes took almost one hour.

Horrible service! There's a girl who greeted us upon arrival and said she would get someone to help us as soon as one became available which was a great first impression but it ended there. We kept seeing people walking in being served while we were still waiting. Totally unorganized! We ended up having to go insist on getting served or else only god knows how long it would of took! We only waited and insisted cause we had no choice but I would of left for sure otherwise. They definitely need to work on their customer service and need to get rid of that girl greeting people at the entrance!

I brought my 2.5-year-old iPhone 14 Pro to the Fairview Apple Store because the screen is bulging from a swollen battery — a serious fire and chemical leakage hazard. The manager, Eric, refused to replace it at no cost, claimed Apple had no legal obligation, and tried to gaslight me by citing irrelevant CRTC 24-month financing rules which regulate phone contracts, not product defects. In Quebec, consumers are legally entitled to products that last a reasonable lifetime under the Civil Code, but my rights were completely denied. No one even warned me to stop using a dangerous device. Totally irresponsible and unacceptable from Apple.
