Best Buy

The service in this Best Buy is top-notch! I went in just to buy a keyboard, but decided to check a sound bar I was already thinking about buying. I asked the clerk to help me test a few, he let me even try it with my own music!!! It was amazing and ended up buying the sound bar that I liked the most. I even got a small discount for my purchase since it was the last day of black friday weekend. Very impressed with the service, could improve they aesthetics, but I know they're remodelling.

Worst experience I've ever had. (And I had many with best buy). We went there for the VIP/back to school sale to buy a hdd and a router for myself, and a laptop for my sibling. I found the guys harassing, irrespective while we clearly didn't ask for help politely. The same salesperson came back on us multiple times, pressuring us to buy a laptop. As we were fed up with how we felt treated, we left without buying the laptop as the manager rushed towards us pressuring us again to buy a laptop. I believe they really needed that commission that day. As I've said, I've had many experiences with best buys in multiple locations. But this was by far the worst. And I'm not a picky guy.

I have a 2 year warranty for my Beats headsets, so when it was broken I went to claim the warranty. The woman in the service counter told me to go to Apple because it's under apple. But Apple sent me back to Best buy because it was where I bought it. The woman at best buy whom I talked to didn't know anything, even the supervisor just gave me a gift card and said they could not replace it. This is very embarrassing. They should not offer people some warranties if they can't honor it.

This Best Buy downtown Montreal on Saint Catherine Street has two floors and it's huge on the inside. It has a lot of Staff being very helpful and I went on a summer day when it should have been slow but I guess in the heart of downtown Montreal it just might be unusual if it were slow and that's probably why they have so much stopped. I was looking for something very specific a GPS tracker and it just come out and it was the trackr Bravo model and Best Buy had them at a great price. Even my computer repair guy that rebuilds and resells that's brilliant and is being in business for ages and has a very strong Chinese connection and Community buying from him even he says when Best Buy has a sale on computers or laptops sometimes it's the best bet in town. This downtown Best Buy was so helpful with a couple of Staff and asking to find out and get answers for me right away and I went to the customer service desk and was taken care of so well that when I said oh heck my parking is going to run out and I'm short some change the guy that was serving me actually went to an area and got change for me because they serve their customers and help them not get tickets cuz they are downtown and it is a parking meter place. That was amazing and then he solved my problem got me the device got me out of there fast gave me the money for the parking meter to go another 10 minutes or so and I was amazed and highly pleased. I couldn't have asked for anything better. I don't know about the rest of the store or the rest of the items because I do look for sales or special items that I'm big on like this when I got on that day. So I'd say that of all the Best Buy store experiences I've had probably the Saint Catherine Street downtown store of Best Buy is probably the best experience for me with Best Buy stores. I was very pleased how supportive and helpful they were.

As any boxing day, this store was very busy, but with all and all the staff was very friendly and professional. I managed to find all products that I was looking for and received answers to my questions for the staff, even the cashiers were very helpful and impressively friendly. In general, this was a perfect experience for a boxing day, no waiting lines, all staff was very helpful and specially every item in my list was available. If this store was closer to my home this will be the store to visit.
