Beck Taxi

Today, I was going to get out of the underground parking lot, but a beck taxi at the entrance of the parking lot blocked 1/3 of the entrance, making it difficult to traffics. When the driver appeared at a distance without a seat and I complained about inappropriate parking, instead of an apology, he argued that it was justified, and he spit on me, and the car kept blocking my way. It's a very bad driver and I don't understand how the company hired such a person as a driver. Looking at the photos is really amazing. Was it still possible to do a taxi service?

Great experience! I called and taxi came within 5 minutes! He was kind and helpful. Edward put my bags in the vehicle for me and was nice and friendly. Focused on driving a good route. Overall my first experience with Beck was terrific. They send you a text to confirm your taxi order and you can track the cab til he gets to you. Once they arrive they call you! Thank you Edward! Hi, I use it most of the time and I got excellent drivers, polite, professional, clean cars, and they drive well. I also got drivers who accept which route I prefer to take without complaining, most of them. I always try to call back to make a compliment. Probably in 30 rides, I got about only 5 not very polite and also not clean cars, but the rest were great. They are always on time. Congratulations to the drivers!

Taxi service provided today. A driver from Beck Taxi took me to Scarborough General Hospital and a different driver brought me back. Both very wonderful men. Wish I had more time to talk with each of them because they were very kind and interesting. Thank you Beck and to these two wonderful people who took care of me and made me laugh.

I am a disabled senior and took Beck a taxi to emergency yesterday. I left my phone in the taxi. Beck worked with me and the great driver had found it and just returned it to me. Beck provides great prompt serve whether as a regular or wheel trans service. I can't thank them enough. Chris

I had to order an emergency taxi. The dispatcher , who was very supportive and caring offered me a flat rate as I was very upset having to travel to an emergency animal clinic to euthanize my friend's cat on her behalf as she was in Croatia. The driver came right away and safely got me to my destination. Thank you...I have Beck Taxi on speed dial always. Mary Ann

First short ride was good. The driver was nice and didn't mind talking. Tried to catch another cab after midnight. Waited for over an hour and nobody showed up. I Would still used them again because they were friendly, and are easy to get ahold of by calling, online, or just waving them over.

After 7 years of loyal service, I'm seizing all my relationships with this company. It all started two weeks ago, when one of the drivers offended my customer. I decided, in good faith to take the place of my customer and not waste the drivers time, it was the biggest mistake. Their driver run me over like a train, telling me the bartender at 3 am that they hate drunk people and that's why he kicked the customer out of their car I was not privy to conversation, just thought the customer went rogue, questioning myself, considering I only served 1 drink. I called the dispatch and was furious, considering, that now, I can't loaf my customers safely. The whole point is to get them home safe, as per criminal code of Canada. Tonight I called a taxi for myself, kicking and screaming on the opposing side on the street witch was WEST for the driver NOT to turn EAST, the driver argues with me, even though HIS COMPUTER says WEST! After a short drive, I get to my destination, still leave a tip to an argumentative driver of 30% 3 bucks on a 10$ won't rain on anyone's day, I call Becks and ask to remove driver from my list I was sober, but my customers may not be, I don't want them to have a bad experience, the dispatch tells me, they don't have enought drivers, so its not an option. As I mentioned the conversation I had two weeks prior and had two amazing individuals drive ME in-between, wanted to leave a compliment, the dispatch decided to hang up on my words "was I lied to before by previous dispatch or are you lying to me know?! It was a "click". I guess customer service on Canadian territory is not their Forte. Thank you for your service of 7 years, but now we cease ties, considering that I turned down 4 other services in awaits for yours.... I guess, I'm that dumb costumer, that overextended my loyalty...b

I rarely ever use taxi services and a recent experience reminded me of why. I called Beck to pick me up, provided my phone number and waited outside. 20 minutes passed. Several Beck taxis passed me. Finally a driver arrives and as I get in the car, he starts yelling at me that he had called me 5x, I explained I had received any calls. I asked him what number he had on file. The last digit of the number he had called was wrong. On the customer screen, the number was correct. He berated me for almost the entire trip that I must’ve given the wrong number and that I was playing games. I’m a professional over 40. No time or interest in games. As I exited the cab he once again berated me for only leaving a small tip. He didn’t deserve a dime but I didn’t want confrontation. This man was extremely rude and abusive. These are the people you hire? He was still sitting out front of my place 10 minutes later when I took my dogs out. Seriously Beck, do better. I’m sure he’s no exception based on your rating.

While they do arrive within 5 to 10 minutes, it's impossible to tell them, with the new automated voice, that I need a taxi for a parcel pickup, or to advise them the customer has a walker, or to come to one of two entrances for a handicapped customers. They can't just park, there is a bike lane and a busy street. It's easier to go to parking lot entrance. More of a headache, and makes me want to decline calling. If the service had more options for bigger locations then kudos.
