Ambassador Express Taxi

Got a taxi from Toronto Airport to the place we were staying in Scarborough. Ride was fine. I thought it was sweet the driver gave my daughter a little McDonald's toy he had in his glove box. About 10 minutes after the taxi left, I realized I left my phone in the back seat pocket! And this is where their service went above and beyond! We contacted the cab company, and someone drove all the way to the cab driver's house to get my phone, and brought it right to where we were staying!

taxi driver convinced me to come in even though I had Uber on the way because it was cold out so I took it. Mid way through trip driver said he didn’t take tap on cell phones so I had him park so I can go up and grab my card from my apartment. I go down to find that the pin pad did take tap!! And he charged me two dollars more my ride was supposed to only be 15$ I should’ve never have tipped at all! Even after I paid with cell phone and it went through he kept insisting he doesn’t take tap. I just wanted to go home so real inconvenience that I went through all that trouble for nothing

Driver A 527 picked me and my wife up at Billy Bishop airport and took a route I didn't request and we sat in construction forever. I told him that this was deliberately done so he could run up the fare, we got into a verbal exchange and when we reached out destination he HIT my wife with his car backing out of the parking lot. Worst driver I've ever had, I hope Uber continues to make your business irrelevant and that you are all jobless soon enough.

Driver A 738 parked illegally in an accessible parking spot on Dec 23, 2022. I have pictures. Absolutely shameful. Reported to the city as well.

Rude, charging $2 for credit card transaction fee, unauthorized to pick up from the Pearson Airport, asking for tip after being rude. May 26, 2022, around 22:30: At the Pearson Airport, I flagged a taxi not knowing that he is unauthorized to pick up from the Pearson Airport. Only found out when the airport authority was taking photos of the driver’s car. Without my address, he quoted me $80 to Brampton. I had to ask him to put the meter on. I had to repeat the spelling of my street name many times since he was agitated that he got caught by the airport authority. When he found out that I will pay by Visa, he said $2 fee applies. He was using the direction App on his phone, and keep looking his phone on his right hand so while we are on 401 west bound, I told him I can give him direction so he stopping using his phone on his right hand. During the trip he got upset and told me “I made a mistake of picking you up”…. Upon arrival, he asked for tip after being so rude so I refused, and just paid the fair and $2 Visa fee.

Beware credit card scam. Took a taxi at YYZ airport, taxi driver demanded cash which i did not have so he said he has to take down my credit card info for payment later. He then charged my credit card 4 times for the same ride 3 days later. Uploaded img of his lisence plate.

This specific driver white car, license plate BNTL 843, driver A 33 - picture attached harassed my mother and I on our way from my office downtown to St. Lawrence market because we apparently "took too long" 30 seconds to pay. The reason we took "so long" was because we were looking for an extra bill to give him as tips. I have never experienced such bad service in my whole life. This makes it very clear why people prefer uber instead of taxis

I rate a 1 star cos there are no zero stars this driver has conned me charge double fare for the same day after using my credit card he returned quickly and shouted from his cat that my transaction was canceled so I did it again now I've checked online and it's done twice $45 each None of of phone numbers will answer all numbers are out of service if anyone has a number please post it Thank you

Wow. Completely astonishing how the driver of car a465 behaved. After I didn't allow him to blatantly cut me off twice he pulls in front of me slams on his brakes big surprise and gets out of his cab and walks up to my car in a very aggressive manner, while cussing at me. Unbelievable.

I am not from Toronto and took a cab from a hotel to Union Station. The driver of cab #A0676 asked where I was going and as soon as I said he rolled his eyes and said he was waiting an hour to take someone to the airport, not to Union Station. He popped the trunk and made not attempt to help with my bag. Once we got to the station, I paid and gave him tip, he started scolding me for not walking to the station or using the subway. I explained that I wasn't familiar with the subway and he said I should use my phone to figure it out. I have come to the same hotel a number of times and have always taken a cab, usually Beck's, and sometimes have taken a cab to the airport. I have had lovely conversations with cab drivers from Beck's and never had anyone question why I was using a cab to go to Union Station. I will use Beck's from now on.
