We stayed for 1 night and absolutely loved the room. Glen and the staff were quick to help and made us feel welcome. The jetted tub, fireplace and the comfy bed were exactly what we needed. Thank you!

We rented the cabin and had a very nice stay. The place was clean and comfortable and our hosts were very pleasant. Location was great. Backs Forest Service Property on two sides. Great mountain biking trails just outside the door. Just a few minutes from town but without the crowds. I would stay again. Only complaint would be to replace the mattresses.

This place has the potential to be a 5-star but their are several issues that need attention, at least with the 9-person house that we rented. There were a few safety issues that are concerning.... 1) The railing of the loft was broken 2) No gutters above either entry creating creating major slip hazards....one of our party slipped and fell pretty hard 3) Several of the cupboards were loosely attached to the wall 4) Most of the doors would open about 1/4 of the way before scraping the floor. Basically a lot of things that would be simple fixes but have just been neglected. The area is amazing year round and the location of the lodge is great. It just needs some good TLC.

My husband and I got married here in August, bear creek lodge was AMAZING!!! Not only is the grounds stunning, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the owners are wonderful people. Planning a wedding at bear creek was surprisingly easy despite the fact that i live all the way across the country. Kasey answered all my emails very quickly, and set up for the wedding was a breeze. I had anticipated set up to take the majority of the day on Friday for our Saturday wedding but Bear Creek Lodge had most of the set up done leaving more time to spend with friends and family! I highly recommend Bear Creek Lodge for a wedding or just a beautiful weekend in McCall, we will definitely be back! Many thanks to Mike, Kasey, Rob and Chef Dev!

I was in charge of setting up for my friends wedding recently (don't know if it was before the new ownership or not.) Before we even got close to the date the bride was already having troubles with the ower. As soon as she signed the contract he began to change things. He would always try to charge her for every little thing and a lot of money for random things even if it wasn't in the contract. On the day of the wedding he was such a jerk to work with and made the day miserable. I hear it is under new ownership and PRAY that you are dealing with a different person than we did. If you have thick skin and can fight for what you want it is a very beautiful place to get married and gorgeous views.
