Wilderness Inn Motel

Cleanish rooms, great breakfast. Lots of hummingbirds. 27 miles to town & bar & groceries. Quiet till morning rafters started up outside with "duuude!" & "rad!" Waay too early, otherwise quiet & cozy. Not far down are th Wer hot springs. It was gorgeous

I remember passing through here with my wife for some lunch. It was so beautiful out there. The restaurant was cozy with a fire place on and the people there were very nice. That was a wonderful time that my wife and I talk about to this very day. I remember the apple pie being awesome there too. We want to go back to visit!

The Wilderness Inn has been and still is our "go to" place to eat during a week long fishing trip each year. The food is great, stick to your ribs fare and very reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and helpful. No matter what else you do, you must have at least one of their Huckleberry shakes and piece of their homemade pie.

We shopped there for lunch while driving the Lewis and Clark scenic trail. The meal and service were really great. They close for the coldest winter months but are well worth a visit in season
