At Bayshore Oshawa we understand that aging in place is a preferred option for a lot of seniors. Bayshore saved my life!!! I had a critical situation with my father. He needed help immediately and I didn't know where to turn. The incredible team at Bayshore did everything to 1 Give me absolute support. 2 Find all of the options available to me for my situation...not necessarily involving Bayshore! 3 Be available to help me in less than 24 hours. Can't believe how fast they pulled it together! The support and compassion I experienced was so needed. They also made sure I was aware of any other options that may be more cost friendly. I would recommend Bayshore to anyone who is looking for help, and having trouble figuring out where to turn. They make you feel like family!!!
Navigating care for your elderly loved ones is stressful. The staff at Bayshore have been amazingly helpful. They are so informative about the services they offer but they are also helpful in suggesting other services or benefits your loved ones can use to make life more comfortable. I am so glad I made that first, tentative phone call. I started with, "Help! I don't know what I'm doing!" Bayshore took it from there. Thank you so much!
My Family contacted Bayshore to set up care for my grandfather. The entire process was super smooth. Jackie the case manager arrived to our home for an assessment with a soft,warm soothing voice that immediately made us feel like we chose the right company. She spent time getting to know my grandfather medically & personally , to the point where she actually made my sometimes grumpy grandfather laugh. Thank you Jackie and Bayshore.
Bayshore staff have been the key to keeping my lovely 96 year old mother at home and as safe as possible from Covid. She requires round-the-clock care and her caregivers, without exception, have been gentle, compassionate, kind and supportive. From the Care Manager's initial visit to our day-to-day interactions with Mom's excellent team, we are very grateful for their expertise and their responsiveness to a challenging and changing situation. We send a big shout out of appreciation to the Oshawa-based team involved in Mom's care.
On January 21, 2021, I contacted Bayshore call centre for assistance for my father who is in a nursing home . Jackie called us back within moments and reviewed our needs. My dad's nursing home was in the midst of a COVID outbreak and unfortunately my dad also tested positive. Jackie called us throughout the five days and went through her entire roster of caregivers to try to help us find someone to help. We wanted to ensure that my dad had the human touch he was craving so much during the lockdown. Jackie went above and beyond and showed so much empathy towards our family during this crisis and did everything she could to help us. We would definitely recommend working with her. She listened to our concerns and never rushed us through any of our conversations. She truly cares about the families she works with.
I have a 2 year old who has been through a lot. He requires round the clock nursing as he is trach and vented. We spent most of his life in an ICU and coming home was scary. Bayshore put our fears aside quickly. Not only is their management amazing but their Nurses are incredible. They are well trained, passionate and caring. They have become family. They help me get the rest I need and take care of all his medical needs. From normal toddler activities to changing trachs, Gtube feeds, medications etc. They can handle it all. Thank you Bayshore for helping us stay home.

They are a very frustrating organization. They show up to scheduled appointments about 50% of the time and their best feature is the last minute cancellation because they double booked. Looking for a new homecare provider.
Very happy with the overall service, the staff in the office are great and very helpful
I would recommend this company above all others if you need Home Health Care.
