Once the relationship was established, I've never had a problem here. The reception is professional, not overly friendly by any means. But my doctor has been excellent. Always returns calls, schedules regular appointments, and fills any required prescription without issue. I've been going here for almost 4 years. Dr Nirindra always explains what options there are, and follows up even after the in person appointment to make sure things are going well. This is not the place where reception is warm and fluffy. They are hardworking individuals who deal with many issues at once, all day long. I can understand, and respect why they are direct and strictly the point. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
I have had nothing but positive experiences with the people themselves. However, the receptionists are WAY too busy and overrun. The ratio of receptionists to physicians in this office needs to improve. If you call them just to book an appointment, it takes over 20 minutes for somebody to answer. There is often a long wait time in the clinic and the physicians are almost always behind on their appointments. People are often rude and irate with the staff because of how long it takes to see a doctor. I fully understand that this is normal for healthcare but it seems like the company is more focused on making money than it is on supporting its patients and staff. More support staff is needed; they don't deserve to be this overrun and berated just so that the company can make extra money.
I have a good relationship with my family doctor who is at this clinic. However, it's very frustrating when I try to call and make an appointment with him. If you are lucky enough to get through to the main line, you are on hold for about 10 minutes. It will ring again and then you are put on hold for another 10 minutes. If do not get to the main line, you have to leave a voicemail. Some times your messages are not returned for a few days. When they are returned I am waiting 2-4 weeks to get in to see my doctor. I understand that the receptionists may be busy, but this sort of communication with patients is the most ineffective way. Please try and find a resolution to this problem.
I am very unsatisfied with the Healthcare I was provided! I got diagnosed with vertigo and Dr. Salhab sent me home with an exercise to help correct the vertigo. I didn't know much about it so I did some research and spoke to some family and friends to find out that there is medication I could have been provided with to help with the symptoms! I am a single mother working full time, I should have been given the knowledge about these medication and provided it but I wasn't! I had to call back and speak to the receptionist and have them send the prescription to my pharmacy. On top of that it's been a few months and I'm still struggling with the vertigo. I tried calling today to book another appointment and it took forever to get through but when I did get through I was told it was over a month til I could see my family doctor. The only thing they could do for me was have me come in to the walk in clinic. So I am now looking for a new family doctor. I would not recommend them!
Booking appointments to be seen by your family doctor shouldn't take multiple calls, hours/days of waiting and numerous voicemails. Quite simply, the desk staff don't answer the phones and after leaving messages there seems to be no focus on callbacks. The office website offers an 'App' with appointment booking but it doesnt work and options are very limited...to the point that its basically useless. Can't speak to the quality of patient care or the state of the facility, as I can't even get an appointment booked.
Very professional clinic. All the Doc's are Good People, Dr. HAMILTON JEYARAJ is a very empathetic person and a rather Funny Man who can lift your spirits during your appointments. I've had very few complaints in my 19 years of having Dr. Hamilton as my Family Doctor!
As other reviewers have mentioned, the doctors are pretty good but the front desk is from hell. The ladies act like they’re doctor themselves and make a fool of themselves. Why wouldn’t you talk to someone with respect and empathy? Either quit or do your effing job.
My dr is absolutely AMAZING! She always answers every question I have and makes me aware of all possible options for any treatments. My issue, which seems to be a common trend is the receptionist. This isn’t the first time I have had an issue with them. First time they put me on hold for over 30 minutes. I hung up and called again and this time they didn’t even answer they immediately put my call on hold. It took over 2 hours to get through just to make an appointment. Today I called to make an appointment and the receptionist was extreamly rude. She kept interrupting me when I tried to tell her what I was calling for. She kept proceeding to interrupt me and tell me that she wasn’t making an appointment when I didn’t have a “reason” She said that I’m better off just coming into the walk in clinic next week because even if she did make an appointment for me I woulnt be able to see anyone until next week anyways. She was very rude, very high sense of entitlement. Seems like medical trust needs to really invest in some better receptionist. Or some sensitivity training for the existing ones.
Dr. Sauve provides excellent care. As others have stated, the front desk is definately in need of some extra help. Not enough support staff to handle the many, many patient calls for the large number of services provided at the clinic and it can be very hard to get through.
Moos5 pathetic walk in place. The reception is worse. Walkin time, appointment time wait time so out ragepus. Owner is driving. Hamilton who is not reachable. Reception would not share his number email or any detail! How pathetic. The appointment call time is between 1 to 3 hours on appointment and not just by mere walking in
