Bamyan Kabob

My first time trying Afghan food and this place becomes one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! The food is delicious and the portion is huge. Either friends gathering or a simple meal for one, you cannot go wrong with this place.

I happened to be in the area with my daughter waiting on a flat tire repair and was hungry and figured we would give it a try as there were not many options in walking distance. The food was so flavorful, even the small side salad. The meal was paired with the perfect sauces and reasonably priced. We had the lunch special for like $8. We dined in, and the service was fast and friendly and cooked to order. There is a free parking lot. It was cozy, small, and likely family owned. I can't wait to get something else on their menu.

I love Bamyan Kabob restaurant. Great for small gatherings with family and friends. Love the dishes being served here. Food is absolutely delicious . They also make fresh sweet bread, jelebi, and baklava. Will be posting food pics soon.Food: 5/5

We had the Lamb shank Entree and Chicken shish kabob and it was the best ever!! Marinated, tender and fresh food. I have been a customer here since 2018 and appreciate their hospitality and hard working people to make such great food.

We ordered to go 3 and 2 combo entrees and potato samosas. Everything was delicious and tasty! We especially liked the aromatic garlic sesame sauce and the hot green samosa sauce. We will sit at the little patio next time when the weather is warmer. We will be back!

Both times I've had their food it's been delicious, with a striking balance of spices and flavors, allowing bite after bite to be savory yet sweet yet slightly hot. I recommend the Uzbek Palaw and can't wait to try more of the menu.

So good! I was a little worried when I noticed the menu had changed, fearing that a reliably good spot was under new ownership. It is, but no worries! I had the Ash soup and the beef mantu. Both were delicious. The mantu was one of the best things I have eaten this year.

Delicious , specially qabli pulaow smell too good , chapli qabab taste also so yummy 5 stars Staff gesture also great and most important you will get easily free parking , restaurant enviro thumbs up

We went there 2 weeks ago there and enjoy delicious foods, Ms.Farida was really friendly, hospitality was good and she offered tasty kabob to me, we decided went there last week again and she recognized us and I was really like that , they are really professional and friendly and also really clean place, I really like go there every week and you can enjoy their foods. And their prices was normal and their portions was really enough.
