Avis Car Rental

My experience was great! The car was spotless, hyper comfortable, I had a reservation and had no problems when I came in to pick up the car. This was my first time ever renting a car and I'm already planning all the trips I'm gonna make. If I could I'd give a 4.9 stars just because the man who saw me didn't explain me anything about the rental. This was my first time renting (not that he can read my mind, but), and he didn't quite tell me what to write down in the paper for the drop-off, didn't explain me about the mileages or anything, so I had to brave the pamphlet and figure it all out on my on (and I'm still not sure if I did it right!) and we are talking about renting a car, one doesn't want to mess up the information. So that was lacking a little more "human instruction" than just the piece of paper. But overall, excellent, really excellent experience.

Downtown super friendly and helpful folks in the Avis downtown downtown Montreal. We arrived after driving all day and they immediately helped us get a shuttle to our hotel free of charge! Very quick and friendly service. Highly recommend

The car has been fine (they didn't have the type of car i reserved on site so I had to take what was available), but trying to talk to a representative is impossible. Have had to wait at least 30 min every time I have gone in person, and trying to call requires at least 30 minutes on hold. Every review seems to mention the long wait time, so I wonder when (if) this issue will be addressed. Update: have been on hold for 1 hour now... very unprofessional

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Had an issue with the original car and they immediately replaced it with an upgrade. No fuss, no trouble. Thanks, you made my trip much more wonderful

Waited over 1 and half hours to get my vehicle. I originally booked standard but they gave kia forte which is considered as compact car which even had scratch on the back. So i made a complaint but they gave me chevorlet traverse which was way too big and over-sized for me. Contacted customer service and the guy on the phone was not very apologetic despite the inconvenience and only offered 30 dollars as discount. Absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid booking from this location as much as possible
