We booked a car through Expedia. It was for a holiday weekend so they were quite busy. The staff helped us with our sort of strange reservation needs (we had to add a driver later in the day). They were nice and didn't do the 30 minute hard sell to up sell you on insurance or features other places have. I will say I over heard that they were over booked for the day (probably with the plan that some people wouldn't keep their reservation) but keep that in mind you will loose your car if you aren't there right at your reservation time and if you can pick up early if you are traveling at a busy time to ensure you get your car.
