Local business and excellent products. The milk is in glass bottles which you return to the dairy. The dairy sells milk, yogurt, butter, eggs, and ice cream. You can also buy lunch there with seating inside and outside. Best ever homemade soups which you they sell frozen and also have a soup of the day. Other items are also sold. Highly recommend

We came here on a Saturday morning to get milk. Parking was spacious and there’s a small cafe inside. The milk looks fresh and the staff were very friendly. They also sell yogurt and goat’s milk.

The best milk around but don't just go for the milk products, their lunch, coffee, sandwiches, soups and paninis are not to be missed!

Started drinking Avalon milk exclusively and has been a fan! You can refund the glass bottles at the store and after the refund it's a cheaper and greener option for milk. We tried their cheese and chocolate milk there and we also liked it as well. We sat down and bought a sausage roll but it was super cold in the middle and had to ask for reheating.

I was taking my purchase of dairy items out on the trolley to my car. A polite young man, Jackson, came over to help me take the trolley over the walkway to my car. I have a foot injury and currently have a hard time maneuvering , his help was appreciated especially as he also put the bigger items in my car. My family loves the chocolate milk and the ice cream!

Good quality milk, but they charge 2.50 deposit per bottle, if you drink milk like I do it adds up quickly lol I don't mind the deposit but its literally almost impossible to find a store that will accept these bottles... says on their website you can return them at any store that carries their products but they do not accept them. Why do they make it so difficult to return their bottles?

That's it. I've had it with their chocolate milk product. Last year the bottleneck was broken with pieces of glass, then the chocolate mix was all wrong, now there are granular bits in the milk. There appears to be zero quality control at this BC company and I wonder if their product is still safe to consume?

Simple good food and great selection of milk products. Had a chicken panini w very good coleslaw. Topped it off w a butter tart. Reasonably priced tasty lunch at 15 all in! I would return:

I highly recommend Avalon Dairy's whipping cream. It's the only honest local dairy farm that doesn't add any unknown ingredients like carrageenan to the cream like any other big corporates that produce whipping cream. There isn't enough studies to prove that carrageenan is completely safe for regular consumptions, and it gave me the worst bloating and allergic reactions, yuck. Also love that they use glass bottles for their milk and whipping cream. I disagree with another reviewer about the difficulty of returning the glass bottles - I regularly buy from a local small grocery store in East Vancouver and they have no problem taking back the glass bottles and returning the deposits to me.

Good but there is room for improvement. Vital Greens Chocolate milk has only three ingredients, half the sugar and is just as healthy as their regular milk.
