Polish Deli Metrotown

My boyfriend and I have been a customer here for years. Hands down this is the best European Deli ! Amazing sandwiches. High quality ingredients. The soups are so good ! If you get there too late they always sell out... so they tells you something. The ladies here are friendly and sweet. I highly reccomend the turkey sandwich.

Was surprised to find Ukrainian and Belarusian products. Good selection of herring, mackerel and mini cheesecakes.

This is a great place to grab lunch. She makes tasty sandwiches and has great hot options like pierogies and soups. It gets busy at lunchtime so be prepared for a bit of a line but it is always worth it.

It's been a tradition of mine for many years to have a Polish dinner on Christmas Eve - pierogi, cabbage rolls, sausage okay not strict on the meatless meal and red cabbage. I've been buying the food from the Polish Deli since 2002, and even though I now live in Mission I still make the drive in every year to make my purchase. Consistent quality, excellent flavour, and friendly staff make me a happy customer!

The best chicken schnitzel sandwich. I worked next to here and once ate a chicken schnitzel sandwich from here 3/5 days of the week.

Amazing cabbage and sasauge soup, very glad I took the chance and stopped for soup and sandwich. Great smoked turkey, 5 stars all the way.

My friend and I went here for lunch and we both ordered the creamy broccoli soup with a bun. Roughly 2-3 hours later we texted eachother to see if any of us was experiencing any funny feelings and surprise surprise: we both had started feeling extremely nauseous and were showing signs of mild food poisoning. My other friend swears by this place and that is why my friend and I drove a long way to get to this tiny little polish deli and try their food. The food tasted okay but it was overly salty and spicy. And one always wonders what it is they are trying to cover up by adding so much salt and pepper! I might give this place another chance and may even change this review in the future; but dear owner, fresh ingredients will go a long way! Think about it, thanks.

Great food, friendly service. Fresh sandwiches made on demand, excellent daily soup specials as well. Lots of Polish specialty and grocery items.

Great place for a soup and sandwich. Lots of delicious cold cuts and sweet treats as well as home cooked goodies and plenty of items from Europe. Highly recommended
