Asian Garden

Disappointed about the shrimp and chicken balls. Barely anything shrimp or chicken - pretty much a mass of deep fried flour. Fried rice was really good, not greasy like other places. Didn't dine in, but did take out. I ordered ahead of time but still waited for 20-25 min. Felt mostly bad for the guy after me. He came in and waited the same as me only to find out his order had been in the front all along, when the lady at till didn't double check his number. A little more light on the flight up the stairs would be nice, as it's a little dark. The place is definitely not wheelchair accessible/friendly. Parking: Plenty of space to park in the front of the place. Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible.

I liked asian garden but Server took out uncooked dim sum and I ate half of dimsum.

Before I start, I understand it's a first world problem, but still. My family and I have been coming here now for the past maybe year and a half, at first, everything was phenomenal. The service was amazing. It even got to the point of where the server would know our exact order before we sat down. Recently though, within the past 3-6 months, the service has been pretty lack luster. Slow service, not checking up on us, different bowls, different recipes for previous order foods. Last night was service was extremely slow, the dude didn't take down my entire order, drinks were served halfway through the meal because it was "busy", it's been busier and still got everything on time. We even watched the front lady get mad at a customer for ordering something over the phone or something to that effect.

I was introduced to Asian garden by a friend who recommended their dim sum and then discovered what a hidden gem their supper menu was. Preordered 1abalone appetizer 2laksa shrimp 3sweet and sour fish 4Taro Briased Pork belly 5shrimp egg tofu 6crispy chicken whole but cut professionally and 7stir fried beans. Was thoroughly impressed by how delectable and appealing each dish was. Been here 6 times now and have to praise the chef for his precision in food quality and tastefulness in the presentation of each dish. Need I mention the service?! Thank you Ivan for looking after us and recommending those unique dishes, making my fathers birthday extra special! He’s not much for crowds but is willing to go to Asian garden because of all their impeccable qualities. Oh and thank you for keeping your washrooms clean! How did I not know about this place sooner?! Lol heads up, I’m going to be a long time customer. Keep up the great work!

We went to Asian Gardens with a large group of people. I had reservation and the restaurant called me the day to confirm. My family and I have eaten here for many years and has been our goto Chinese food place in Saskatoon. Unfortunately, it will no longer be the place to go. Over the past couple years the quality of the food has gone way downhill. Food was served as it came out of the kitchen. The fried rice was cold. The wonton soup was lacking seasoning and the large size now looks like a small. The chicken in the lemon chicken and chicken balls was old, dry and mostly batter. Everything was served with forks to dish up the food, even the plum sauce! Service was slow and despite my reservations, very unorganized food was inconsistent arriving at our table. In addition, it was $360 dollars! There were 16 of us, 6 being children. Asian Gardens you need to step up your game.

Ordered the dinner for 8. Food arrived hot and on time. Everything was better than promised. Lots of food for 8. Thank you!

Food and service was amazing! First time going and great experience. We went for dim sum and would say it's my new favourite place for dim sum. Their chicken feet and spare ribs are on point! All the food was fresh and the waiting time was not bad at all. Ivan was serving our table and was an incredible host. We were a family of 10 and they were very accommodating. I would highly recommend going to this place for great Asian food!

Loved the food here, good quality and attentive staff. The flavours really come through. Sit by the window and watch 8th St.

I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We picked up an order tonight got it home only to find pieces of metal in our food. The pieces were quite small and could have easily been eaten. We could not even eat the rest of our meal as we had no idea if there were more pieces of metal we might eat or what else might be in there. I called the restaurant to let them know what happened and they did not seem very concerned and only offered us a free fried rice on our next order. No concern that we spent over $50 and could not even eat our food and could have been injured had we eaten those small sharp pieces of metal. Food quality is terrible and even dangerous. Customer service was absolutely terrible and in fact they are very lucky no one was hurt. I will never eat there again.
