The price is reasonable. I liked the design of it too, lots of flowers . I tried Satay Noodle soup and it was super tasty. The bowl is big and sufficient for one person. I tried the bubble tea there too, but it wasn't smooth and once in a while I found peace of ices that wasn't that much good for me.
Visited this place recently and it was a great experience! The place was cozy and clean. Their menu have great selections to choose from. Food tasted delicious and it was generously priced. The service was good and the staff were pleasant.
You know a place is pretty authentic when you hear yelling from the kitchen between the front staff and the kitchen staff. For us it wasn't fighting, just figuring out where supplies were. Great flavourful food and timely service from stepping in to ordering to meals on the table. By the way it doesn't have to be spicy food... Just the name. But if you ask for regular spicy, be prepared...
My fiance is gluten sensitive, and this place was highly recommended by others. No reaction for my fiance afterward which was awesome, and they clearly stated on the receipt gluten free. Confident to say, they are great at what they do and understands the needs of their customers. Thank you! Ordered by phone, and the staff that took our order was understanding and patience answering all my questions. Easy pickup, would definitely order here again. It's bit highly priced but the food is worth it. Have never been to the restaurant, so cannot comment. Thanks -- June 2021 update Ordered recently for pickup, this weekend, and I couldn't be more disappointed. Both meals I ordered were pretty much soaked in oil. the fried rice, the noodles, the vegetables. Everything was just glistening in oil.
They have my second favourite soup in the city: Coconut Curry Soup with Seafood. The food is tasty and affordable. I enjoy dropping in occasionally.
My husband and I have ordered here numerous times, we especially love the noodle bowls, well did. We noticed you guys changed your spring roll recipe and the new ones just don’t compare. They taste like they were cooked in burnt oil. Also and excessive amount of onions added to the noodle bowls where that’s pretty much all you can taste. Disappointing especially when you spend $44 on supper.
We tried the place out, and ordered the chicken on rice with eggs and spicy noodle soup, while the soup base and the marination for the chicken wasn't too bad, the type of meats they used for were horrendous, white and lean meats ? For these dishes? I get the healthy angle but these dishes weren't made for that, the chicken meat was dehydrated and felt rubber like, I've seen some of the reviews here and get that people complain about gluten that and healthy this, but people come to these asian and vietnamese restaurants cause they look for authenticity, if they were looking for healthy diets, they would have gone to booster juice or something, but to try and alter the dishes and cater to the north American nonsense is a horrible idea and drives the majority away to appease the minor few who even cares about this, while the prices were very enticing the overall taste was not up to par, chicken thighs, dark meats and meats with some fat would have done the dishes justice
I had their stewed beef noodle soup, and was pleasantly surprised by it. The beef chunks inside were very tender and flavorful, and the soup itself was well seasoned and fragrant with a sweetness from the carrots. I wish the soup was a bit thicker however, and the chunks of carrot were larger and stewed longer to be more tender. I also tried the house special beef pho, which I really enjoyed. The quality of the meat in the soup was very good, and the rice noodles weren't overcooked and mushy which happens frequently elsewhere. The soup had a good fragrant flavor but tended to be a bit too sweet and salty.
Pretty sure this is a Vietnamese restaurant ran by non-Vietnamese people. Ordered steak pho and asked for beef slices on the side because that's how you're supposed to traditionally eat pho, but they called me and said they wouldn't do it. I've seen people complain about receiving their order with raw steak slices on the side, but that's how it's SUPPOSED TO BE. I feel like this restaurant is catering to Westerners and not holding true to Vietnamese culture. I literally had to explain to the lady over the phone how to eat pho and how food immunology works. Absolute pure disrespect to Vietnamese people and culture as a whole. Furthermore, there was a grey hair in my food, which I suspect may have been intentional, but I'll never know. Can't have anything in Saskatchewan.
Every time I come here it’s always a great time! The staff are very kind and the food is incredible!! I’ve never left disappointed.
