My wife and I stayed at Ashley Manor in October of 2016. I chose this place due to the location and offered amenities which caught my eye. Barnstable is close enough to get to everything in the cape such as restaurants you would like to eat, but remote enough to still have that old New England feel to it. We stayed in the King George's Suite. The room and inn both exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed having a room with real a wood-burning fireplace, which I have since found is not common among other bed and breakfasts' we have stayed at in New England. The room was also spacious and had a great Jacuzzi tub. There was also a mini-fridge in the hall where we were able to keep some of our drinks, etc. We really enjoyed the complimentary cordials as well which made for a great digestif at night - this is also something we have yet to see other Bed and Breakfast owners offering their guests! Breakfast was always tasty and the owners Vince and Pat are great people. Not sure when we will be back to Cape Cod area, but when we do we will definitely stay at Ashley Manor again.

We've spent a wonderful few days at Ashley Manor just about every year since Vince and Pat took it over in 2004, and there are plenty of great reasons we keep going back! The house was built in 1699, with lots of period specific details that never fail to enchant us! They are terrific hosts who see to every need, and the breakfasts are excellent! They find directions, make reservations, arrange for tickets/seats, provide beach towels and bag, tennis rackets, umbrellas, and probably snow shovels! They located the Cape Cod Summer League games for us a couple of times, and church services. Vince even shared a favorite recipe with me years back! Worth a trip!

I can't recommend Ashley Manor enough. Pat & Vince could not have been more gracious or accommodating hosts and the breakfasts were excellent! They were phenomenally helpful with local recommendations. My wife and I were there for our 35th anniversary and we were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely return.

The owners were lovely and gave us a very nice tour with a brief history of the house. We had an amazing room called The Canterbury Sweet. It had a wood burning fire place with provided wood. There were flameless candles and bath salts which was a nice touch. It also had a nice jacuzzi tub. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast which gave us an opportunity to chat with both the innkeepers as well as other guests. It was a combination of an old-time Inn but with all of the amenities of a five star hotel. We will definitely be returning.

I stayed here last weekend with my spouse and loved it. Pat and Vince were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the King George room, which was spacious, clean, and comfortable. (We need to get a pair of recliners like what they have in there.) When we arrived, Vince gave us a fun historical tour of the house, including the secret passages that were used to help hide Loyalists during the Revolutionary War, and they also gave us good advice on where the best place to eat are in the area. Breakfast was delicious! Certainly as good or better than anything I've ever had at any B&B I've stayed at. Highly recommend this place.
