Arrowsmith Bikes

I have shopped at Arrowsmith Bike Shop many times and I’ve always had pleasant experiences. I finally bought my first new bike and it was a no-brainer for me where I wanted to buy from because of the service I had had at both locations in the past. The entire team is incredible to deal with. I had top notch service every step of the way with excellent communication the whole time. They delivered on everything that they said they would and then some. I highly recommend Arrowsmith Bikes for all of your biking needs.

We arrived to Arrowsmith with a group of 7 riders from the Lower Mainland on a 2 day ride. Riding from Departure Bay to Courtenay and return the next day. One of the bikes needed some rear end work. The service mechanic took the Giant Liv bike in to emergency surgery stat. The turnaround on the service was so appreciated, pricing was so reasonable and we were back on the road within an hour. Such a great experience. Thank you from the Team. Highly recommended

I have had a bike from Arrowsmith ever since my first one in 2007 when I bought a Rocky in Parksville. Since then I have had various bikes from other shops and another used Rocky that I rode to Mexico. I got a Giant bike last year in Nanaimo and it has been great for me for day rides and also bike adventures around Tofino and this summer to Galiano and Saltspring. There was another younger mechanic that helped me with getting Schwalbe tires added since the original tires weren't strong enough for my rides. I got the chain replaced after it wore out, otherwise I have just had an issue with some broken spokes, and thanks to Peter I got the warranty for my back wheel to get the strong spokes that Arrowsmith added. Kebble messaged me to get it adjusted in a week, and so I will go back to get that done. Then maybe a fall bike adventure ride to Walbran!

Would find another local shop. Just drove all the way from Lake Cowichan just to pick up some One up carbon bars, that say “in stock at retail location “ . They are not in stock. They were unwilling to do anything to help me out- free shipping- even a sticker? Pretty sad customer service. Won’t be spending any money here. Go to blacks cycles or Cowichan cycles. I love to support local shops hence why I was going to drive to get them in person . But they were honestly just rude to me in there and looked confused that their website doesn’t work. You’re in there every day how do you not understand your pos system?
